I'd give this a 0 out of ten but 1 is generous enough. The iced tea was warm, the ribs, and cornbread were cold and after I left, I got food poisoning a few hours later! Never visiting this place again.
I don’t even write reviews but I feel like whoever the chef is absolutely hates his job. We got the BBQ chicken (it was disgusting), pulled pork (was decent), chicken wings (also decent), ribs (decent texture, eh flavor), boneless wings (Eh), Mac n cheese (trash), beans (trash) , corn (taste like boiled water), cornbread (a little mushy) and cheese curds (trash) … and threw it all in the trash. Save your money. This is not what you’re looking for.
We was looking for famous Dave but only found Johnny carino's at the address given by the website. Service was ok but we really wanted to go to Dave's not to carino's. Was very disappointed
Famous Dave's is a hard pass for this stick burning guy. Ordering in-person was a definite struggle because there was no-one at the counter. After about a 5 minute wait I moved the 6 or 7 feet around the counter to the Carinos counter and got the rolled eye from the lady standing there not doing anything. She took my order: 2 brisket sandwiches, 1 order of fries and we took a seat. 30 minutes in my bride checked on the order and still nothing. Did I mention they were dead for business. They finally brought some orders up where they sat. Again, my wife asked, they checked and our order was there. When we got home, about 3 miles from there, the order was stone cold. Also, my wife's sandwich was nothing but fat. Now I like a little fat, but couldn't eat it. We split the other sandwich. The fries were undercooked and hard as a brick, they went into the trash. There was no smoke ring on the brisket and no smoked taste. It was more like chunks of roast with not enough sauce to taste. I don't know why I went to an Italian place for Q, but it wont happen again!!
Read the reviews and got a bbq chicken sandwich. They even added bacon. It was bussin (mostly gone now but I swear it was so good)
I waited an hour and was disappointed. We received the wrong order and the food was cold. Also, the commercial showed the sliced brisket sandwich on a bun and we got chopped brisket on plain bread slices. I drove 25min across town to try the Famous Dave’s only to be dissatisfied. Don’t be fooled by the commercial on TV like I was.
Waited an hour not worth the wait. Asked for slice brisket sandwich got a sloppy mess. Ordered brisket nachos and the chips were stale. Bad service bad food.
My husband and I saw the advertisement on television about the $5 brisket sandwich that was piled high with brisket. After searching for and finding the restaurant, after standing in line to order, he placed his order then noticed several customers complaining about the wait. My husbands wait was over 2 hours, once he brought the food home, the sandwiches had barely enough meat pieces to cover the bread, and the taste was not worth the trouble or money. Looking at the previous reviews, nothing has changed, this was our first and last visit.
I ordered through Door Dash. They took over an hour to complete the order. A call was made and they said 4 to 5 minutes and the order would be out. Thirty minutes later, the food was still not finished and ready. Another call was made and they said another fifteen minutes. Once we finally received our order, it was not even correct. This is unsatisfactory service from a business and I would not recommend ordering from here.
Saw this place being advertised on TV for the $5.00 Brisket sandwich. First warning, to not even try and order this was it's inside another restaurant (Carinos). So I still decide to go and give it a try. Second warning, I over heard a gentleman say he placed his online order almost a hour ago and it was still not ready. But there I go still placing my order for 3 brisket sandwiches and salad. I paid for order and she said 20 minutes. Okay that is the norm when ordering food from a restaurant. 20 minutes pass she will not even look my way. Someone else comes in from doordash and they have her wait. 30 mins have gone bye and before I even ask she says it's almost coming out. At 45 mins she tells me it will be another 15-20mins; if I would like something to drink or dessert. My husband says a refund back will do. Third warning, Manager is unable to process the refund right there and then. She needs to open a case so they can return the funds.How can you not just cancel the order then and there. My warning to you who choose to order from here expect to wait almost an hour for orders to go and carry cash so you can get your refund right away if you don't want to go through this issue. Or just avoid the place altogether.
