Uber delivery, Matcha latte, fresh sweet orange juice, kolache. PROS...The latte is right on. I drink matcha for the focus, and non-jittery energy caffeine. It is well prepared and great quality. I love fresh squeezed oj and the tastes varies. Well, you can see how much fresh oj cost. This oj from Extra Fine is delicious. The kolache is a well made peppered fresh sausage link. This is one of those establishments like SUPPER. The quality of the individual ingredients in their food is better than we can find at any market.Cons...I want the same thing next time but I want to try the rest of the menu. This has made my Sunday morning ?
I was hoping for their regular menu on a Saturday. Yogurt and Quiche (not pictured) were amazing! The avocado toast was not very flavorful and difficult to eat because the toast was so hard.
My boyfriend and I love this place! We go frequently since we live in the neighborhood it’s a gem. Everyone is pretty friendly! I crave the pastries. I usually get the cold brew coffee with oat milk and lavender syrup. Their Thai tea is addicting. Always a vibe, clean, fresh and a plus that people have their dogs with them outside ??☕️?
Very nice staff! Breakfast sandwiches are great and the pastries that I have tried were yummy too. I would recommend their limeade if you have a hankering for a sweet and sour refreshing drink. I’ve been back multiple times.
Extra fine is the most perfect little neighborhood cafe in San Antonio. My family orders takeout from here at least 2-3 times a week - we literally can’t get enough. The ingredients are always fresh and cooked to literal perfection.I definitely wish mimosas were on the menu for brunch but I can’t even complain!
What a neat little coffee shop! I went in for lunch and to get a little work done; it was bright and airy, not too crowded. I went around noon and was able to find a large table free for me to set up my laptop and second screen. My latter was good, my sandwich (the Monte Vista club) was excellent. I work from home so I like to try out working in different coffee shops to break up the monotony-this one is definitely included in my rotation now!
Excellent spot with wonderful Coffee and Pastries. Breakfast sandwich is killer. Bobka was great too.
If I could give 1500 stars I would. The employees were so welcoming to our chaotic family and the espresso was amazing. A cool vibe without the pretentious attitude from other trendy coffee shops. We’re definitely making this our weekly treat.
We tried Extra Fine for the first time this morning, and we will definitely be back. I had the pancakes and the other peeps had the avocado toast and the quiche respectively. The portions were large (well, the quiche was very large), and everything was fresh and tasty. The lattes were good, and they even do a decaf latte. There's seating both inside and outside. We got there just after 9am and by the time we left 90 minutes later, it was quite busy. The waitstaff are pleasant and attentive without being pushy or rushing you. Lovely place !!
Not the best pic, but I forgot to snap one before I started eating this delicious cookie lol. It was a rye chocolate chip cookie with sesame seeds in it. SO GOOD! It was a semi chewy cookie, but the sesame seeds gave it some crunch.I was curious why they used rye flour vs all purpose so I had to Google it. Apparently rye flour has better moisture retention and it contains different complex sugars and enzymes which leads to a great texture for baked goods! Oh and the rye flour attributes to the darker color (it’s not burnt or over baked)I never thought I would learn something while eating a cookie :)
