Dinner was ordered for pickup and was absolutely delicious and hot! Food tasted great and the chops were tender! Wood Fire pizza had a great flavor! I’ll definitely order again when I visit my family here in SATX!

My name means ignite the fiery one....so coming to embers just feels nostalgic lol......Felicity is definitely awesome....love her attitude......food is instagram post worthy...and....I tried to give it more stars, but limited to 5 ?..also......if I have time...this restaurant.....i try to make before closing.......because it somehow turned to my favorite chill spot.....Enatius ?? ?

Spur of the moment pick when we needed dinner. Sign on door stated that they were understaffed and to be patient (appreciated the heads up). We sat in the bar to avoid the wait for a table and I am glad we did. The bartender was fabulous! Sorry I didn’t get her name (black, shoulder-length, curly hair with tattoo on her left forearm). She was an efficient machine behind the bar. I had their special margarita which reminded me of Alton Brown’s recipe and just as good. The Chicken Caesar salad was pre-dressed the way it should be and even had more dressy on the side.

We stopped here after a rather long road trip. It's nice and close to a couple hotels. As soon as we walked in the door we were welcomed by a pleasant wood fired grill smell. I didn't get to see much of the restaurant, but our booth was nice and the staff was super friendly. They had adjustable blinds on the windows in case the evening sun overpowers your eyes. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the jalapeno mac n' cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, balsamic chicken, mushroom chicken, salad... well, I guess I just sampled everything on the table. They also have an extensive list of beers on tap, a lot of them local. I'd absolutely eat here again.

This was our first time to visit Embers, and we came with a group of 12 on a Sunday after church. Despite being COVID-short on staff, our waiter did a great job, was upbeat the whole time, and the food for all of us across the board was excellent and very nicely presented. Very impressed. The menu had something for everyone and we are looking forward to coming back to try other items. Great first impression! We'll be back. ???

Pizza and loaded fries are great haven't really tried anything else so can speak on them and beer was nice and cold

Good food waitstaff was good considering they are short ppl. Good environment could use a good sweep again probably low on waitstaff. Try the burgers.

The best dining experience I’ve had in a long time! Excellent service, calming atmosphere, and amazing food. Even being short staffed, the service was the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be coming back and telling our friends and family!

On a recent business trip to San Antonio, I was in the mood for a good chicken fried steak and I decided to give Embers a try. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a side salad and everything was very good, as expected. I had not eaten at all that day and decided on the appetizer of fried mushrooms, something I hadn’t sampled in many many years. They were great and a very generous portion. Service was prompt and efficient and the waitress check back with me several times. Look forward to returning someday.
