I've never been a person who liked bbq. But I took my husband because he wanted to try it. I ordered the 3 meat plate with the marbled brisket, sausage and ribs with potato salad & mac n chz. Our server was Emily and she was outstanding! The meat literally fell off the bone, and Emily even brought me 2 new ribs cause they noticed mine were falling apart...but I was not complaining at all! The food was absolutely delicious! Full of flavor and generous portions. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was life-changing! We will definitely be going back!
Barbecue was fantastic! Service was fast and very friendly. Sides and desserts were delicious. Prices were reasonable. We will definitely be going back regularly. Love this place!!
I've been here multiple times and the food never fails to fulfill my appetite for some good brisket. The Mac and cheese is good along with the corn. It's my go to spot for BBQ. It can get a little warm in the place but that isn't enough not to give this place 5 stars. Definitely give it a try, support your local business!
Delicious bbq! If you want great food, get out of the river walk and come here. Get the Ribs, and the sweet potato side. You will not be disappointed.
Very good BBQ and the servings are large, especially the loaded baked potato. The owner came by our table and personally greeted us (entering the restaurant as well) which shows professionalism and passion towards his customers. The server could have been more attentive and timely when it came to ordering but overall, this place is very good.
Actually today was my first day eating here the food was so good and delicious I'm sure coming back and telling family and friends about this place
Been living in SA for 20 years now. Been working on the Southside for 5 years now. Pass this place daily. Lunch is always busy. Someone told me it wasn't that good so I stayed away. Last week on Wednesday I had a guest and we just decided to go there. Medium size dining room but the smell was as close to heaven as I want to get right now. Then it happened, a waitress walked by with a dinosaur rib on a plate, she needed both hands to hold that thing up. It looked AMAZING! My mouth was watering at the thought. I had to order a brisket sandwich instead because I didn't want to go back to work in a food coma. Well the smaller brisket sandwich is the biggest brisket sandwich anywhere else. It was AMAZING! Gotta give it to you D Willie's, you are the BBQ king in SA in my opinion. Oh and the service was fantastic.
The wife and I came here and it was pretty amazing. Ribs weren't burnt like other places, brisket was flavorful and cooked just right. I recommend getting the sweet potato casserole as well. Overall I'll be going back here for sure
First time here, our waiter was nice and helpful. Service was fast. Food was delicious. I got the 2 meat plate special. I picked ribs and jalapeno and cheese sausage and my 2 sides were cream corn and Mac and cheese. And then we got a pecan cobbler with ice cream. That was also very good. Didn't finish it all it was a good amount of food. Will be back again.
Delicious BBQ! Order the marble brisket you won't regret it. The sides were also Delicious definitely will return for more!! Jalapeno and cheddar sausage had a great smoke flavor.
