The food is what you would expect. Good 'ole down home cooking. We visited around 2pm or 3pm on a Sunday, so we definitely caught the post-church rush. So it was very crowded, and I would avoid going during that time block. The food was delicious. I always tell myself I'm going to try something different on this visit, but I always end up going with the chicken fried chicken. I would definitely recommend! The only reason I give 4/5 stars is the crowds and the service could've been a tad bit better. However, I suppose that's understandable with how crowded it was.
Everybody should experience Cracker Barrel at least once. I would not say that it is for the health conscious or vegan, but if you need to step away from heart healthy for a quick minute...go for it. The food reminds me of home cooked with lots of gravy. And the bonus while you wait for a table is the gift shop. It's absolutely fabulous. If you can't get free of heart healthy, at least you can partake of the gift shop and surely find a gift that will become a treasure for your loved one.
The breakfast was delicious as always...! ?Customer service was pretty slow however we did have a new employee serving us. Just a recommendation but if the new employees can have some assistance to get the hang of things for there tables it would be appreciated. I was about to ask for a different server due to how long it was taking to get anything. As always though once the food came out it made everything better because it was so delicious. Thank you!
I'm usually a fan of cracker barrel and have been to many I've loved. Unfortunately this was NOT one of those times. I got chicken save dumplings and my wife got the daily special,pot roast. My chicken and dumplings were cold and I only found two very small pieces of chicken. The corn tasted old and the hash brown casserole was basically old potatoes with too much cheese. My wife pot roast was horrible. It was literally 90% fat blobs (see photo). She didn't even finish it. To top it off, our waitress never came back after serving the meals. We sat there with empty drink glasses until we left. Can't recommend this one at all.

The waiter was nice and they did my pancakes PERFECTLY. Just look at the photo. Perfect golden brown and they tasted great!
We just had the most pleasant experience eating here. The place was busy. Was told about 40 min wait. Was exactly 40 min. Got seated, Andre was right there took our drink orders, less than a min returned with drinks and biscuits, took our order, left to put in our meal order. Our meals were brought to the table in less than ten minutes. He checked up on us prior to the meal and during. He was working other tables and they were getting the same great attention that we were. It was GREAT to see someone who took pride in what he was doing. Also thanks needs to go to the kitchen staff who were really swamped, but still got out the food quick and hot.Thanks for a job WELL DONE!!!!
