I’m very upset with Cracker Barrel. I got off from work and couldn’t decide what to eat, then I thought of Cracker Barrel. There’s not that many people there so it shouldn’t take that long to get my order. I ordered food to go and waited. I figured 15 minutes or 20 minutes the most to wait. No. I waited over 40 minutes till I got my food. I probably would have waited longer if I didn’t go and complain. They told me that it was being bagged. Then I waited longer. Then a girl walked up to me to ask if I wanted bread with my order. I told her that I didn’t care, I just wanted my food. She left and brought it to me. I went home to find that my food was cold! Not a little cold. Cold! Like it had been sitting there! Why was I waiting all that time for cold food! That is ridiculous! I was tired from work and just wanted a nice meal and I got this. Thanks a lot Cracker Barrel for the horrible experience ?
Southern fried chicken was precooked and dry. It used to be cooked when ordered with a 25 minute wait as to be expected. At least it would have been moist and delicious. This precooked and warmed offering was not. Wife's turkey and dressing was OK though. Server was forgetful and spent most of her time in the kitchen while her three tables suffered. Not a good visit this time. On the bright side, the country store area was well stocked and fun as usual.
Wonderful Home cooked feeling comfort food. While recovering from an injury, Ruth our server catered to our extra needs and as always made the dining experience a lovely experience. We ended up ordering it to go last second, and Ruth took care of us even after we inconvenienced her. Thank you Cracker Barrel for hiring exceptional servers such as Ruth and for a delicious meal.
Food was delicious I had a sirloin steak and green beans and mashed potatoes.. service was awesome ??

Arrived at 10:40am. 20 minutes to be seated. I have now waited another 40 minutes for my meal to arrive and I'm still waiting......................
PLEASE READ, FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY!!! BUT some customers have no patience whatsoever. Come on people! This business does their absolute best to try to accommodate. They stay professional. When you go anywhere during lunch hour, there is a wait. When they give you a time when you will be seated, it is an APPROXIMATE time. They don't have all the dining areas open due to a lack of waitresses. Sometimes there is only one serving due to shift change. Stop being racist as well. PEOPLE, BE RESPECTFUL. I am more than certain you would hate it if someone went to your house and treated you like that.
First time at Cracker Barrel in twenty years. But it did not disappoint. The grilled trout was delicious and my daughter's both had fried chicken and the macaroni. All of the veggies were delicious. Salad was fresh. Excellent service from our waiter Jarett. Can't wait to go back.
