First time at Conroy's. Good Chicken Fried Chicken, I would definitely recommend, good taste, nice presentation.I would have liked a little more than what was barely a half a glass of my Old Fashion though. Margaretta (not pictured) was good, decent size.????
Our group intended on eating at the well known restaurant next door but being pressed for time we landed here instead. We went in with “bar food “ expectations and left pleasantly surprised and impressed. Our group had the Philly cheese steak, salmon, and bacon wrapped shrimp with drinks of course. Food & drinks were great ….we all agreed we would come back again!

We had company from overseas and we decided to take her to this yummy restaurant where there's a little bit of everything, and the food is delicious.Did I say that the food is so delicious??The combination of the flavors are on point. Despite that fact of the deliciousness (yup, can't say it enough), there were several mistakes that will prevent us from attending again. My husband ordered a large draft and it was the wrong size, well the waitress left it at the table. Later she brings the correct one, of course he was going to drink the one you left at the table! Have you seen a man that likes his beer, specially after a long week from work? Yeah... Exactly.Our drinks from the bar arrived just 2 minutes before our meal. I order some food to go, and I asked her not to place the order immediately that I would let her know, well... Can you guess what happened... right!? ?We didn't finished our plates and the to go order was ready...and guess what... the check as well.So for me, that was a sign, and I really wanted a dessert ?.While reading the invoice, we learned that there was a charge for her wrong size if the beer... According to the manager, that's was definitely our mistake because she left it at the table and of course my husband drank it. ?And there was a Surcharge of 4.00% (if you pay with credit card ?) the surcharge was not our main concern, but when we asked about it (cuz we didn't know) the answer that we got was not convincing. He said: it has always been alwayslike that!???.. nahhh... doesn't convince me.But anyway... I can say that we are regulars, giving the fact that we go at least every 9 weeks.But my husband and I love to explore and try other restaurants, including during the weekends.We are great supporters of the small businesses, we know things are getting pretty hard for them and us too.P.S. I can still taste de Chicken Fried Chicken in my mouth and I am getting hungry again. Please give them a second chance. (Taste buds doing what they always do).
I'm not sure how this place has so many good reviews. Went here once because Lupe was too long of a wait. My husband and I got an old fashioned and a margarita. Both not good. Got the "award winning" ribeye and shrimp and grits. Both not good. The service was terrible. We had to ask twice for everything, and the food took forever. $130 later we ended up feeding our son leftovers at home and weren't even in the mood to eat ourselves. Save your time and money.
The atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The decor was nice and tasteful. The menu could use some help but is being worked on from what I understand. The food was surprisingly very good and fresh. I can't say I was disappointed in anything i ordered at all. I had a appetizer, salad, entire and dessert. The sweet tea was perfectly made. The men's restroom does definitely need some work and I did speak to the manager about it. She is going to bring it to the attention of the owner. I did peek in the kitchen and csn comfortably say it was very clean. I definitely will be returning to this establishment and encourage other to visit it as well.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE. My mom and younger brother drove in from Corpus Christi and arrived later in the evening narrowing our options where to eat. We were recommended Shrimp Alfredo due to it being Friday (lent). The food was superb, the waitress was very attentive to us, and the food was definitely more than enough to eat. We found out before we paid that someone in the building paid for our entire meal. I do believe it was the owner of the place since he chatted with us several times, asked where we are from, how our night was going and made sure we had 5 star service. I will definitely be coming back and recommending Conroys to others!
Last week, we visited @conroysstoneoak, checking the place out with Dad. We hadn't been there in a while but really enjoy the outdoor area.I had the Rum Punch and my husband had the Conroy's Mule. We started with the full nachos with ground beef as our appetizer. It was a pretty generous portion. We couldn't finish it. Otherwise, we wouldn't have room for the entrées. Dad and I shared the Fish and Chips, which came with 3 pieces of fish. We ordered side salads too. My husband had the Hong Kong Sea Bass. Overall, it was good but a little salty and overcooked.They've changed their happy hour prices because of the rising cost of food and drinks. I would be curious to try the Shepherd's Pie next time. I've never ever had it before and not many places seem to serve it.
