My wife Introduced me to this place a few months ago. It is now are restaurant of choice when it come to great Chinese food. Went this evening and, even though it was close to closing time, the staff was friendly and attentive. The food came out hot and fresh, with a huge portion that we were both able to share. I highly recommend it the next time you are in the mood for Chinese food.
This place is just AMAZING. Small but the food is DELICIOUS. We had a party of 6 went for my sisters birthday and let me tell you the service was probably one of the BEST I've experienced. Nobody let our drinks get past halfway...they were just the right amount of attentive. Orders of all appetizers and entrees were flawless. I will definitely return and I highly recommend!!
Gave China Inn a third chance and they came through. I'm a big fan of their Mongolian Beef and also Pepper Steak. The egg rolls are not very good so I would stick with the crabmeat rangoons. The chicken corn soup was excellent. There are some menu items that are super tasty and others that lack flavor. I will try China Inn again soon, so that way I can try other possible tasty items.
I finally found a great Chinese restaurant in San Antonio! Orange and sesame chicken were perfectly sweet and savory. We did take out and order was correct and on time. Highly Recommend this place!
We came at a very busy time and the service was welcoming. The staff is very friendly. The food was amazing! We got a lunch special beef and broccoli which I always order and it’s been the best! Flavorful and not super salty (like most places). We also got pork noodle soup, beef noodle soup, and chicken with Serrano pepper. The chicken with Serrano peppers were not spicy at all. It looks like they might have removed the seeds. The soups were delicious. And let me tell you the are not stingy! These are very big portions! I thought because it was lunch time it would be small portions but nope sure was not!
I always have a good experience when I eat here. The staff are friendly and service is quick. The food is so delicious and abundant. I come during lunch and always have left over. My son drop his toy car and the waiter went to pick it up which I thought was so kind. Then after my kids ate he brought them lollipops! Very excellent quality of food and others must know about this as well because it was filled with alot of people for lunch.
Delicious simple Chinese food. Not over complicated but humble enough to squander your appetite. The amount of choices on the menu! Lo-mein was delicious as was the orange chicken. Service was very attentive during the lunch rush. Food came out hot and in a timely manner. Probably the best low-key Chinese joint I've ever been to. Highly recommend
Excellent little detour. We were going to Dimsum Oriental down the street but they closed for a break between lunch and dinner on a Tue so I remembered I wanted to try this place. Great choice. We just missed the lunch cutoff and paid dinner price but we'll worth it. Veggies and all meat, seafood and portions were superb, along with service and price foe lunch. ? We will be back!
The freshest dumplings thus far I've had in San Antonio. I am one happy girl. Dumplings is life! Lol Definitely will be back to taste the rest of the menu...
Absolutely a delightful dining experience from the moment we entered China Inn. The staff went above and beyond in customer service. My drink never got below halfway down before it was refilled. The food was fresh and simply delish! Bravo Chef! The search is over, China Inn has won us over for best Chinese food we've found in San Antonio so far. Shout out to Ida our waitress, we left with a smile feeling pampered. Just became a regular.
