Tried CB&D for the 1st time and truly enjoyed it. Note: no place to sit & eat in the restaurant.Bagels are fantastic and we're definitely going back for the pretzels.Check it out.
Can't rave about this place enough. Honestly some of the best salt bagles and bialy I've ever had. Almost makes me miss living back east. Their sandwiches are awesome. Their deli sandwiches are also amazing since they use Boar's Head. Their lox are spot on too.
Best bagels in San Antonio. We are from Detroit and have travelled everywhere with USAF. These are amazing and just like home! They are friendly, welcoming and always happy to help! Love to stop in and grab lunch and extra bagels and cream cheese. The big pretzels are a win and the cinnamon rolls are delicious too! Love them!!!!
If you eat bagels regularly and buy them from a store. Find the closest mirror, look yourself in the eye and question your life. The warmth i felt inside me was not only from the bagels but from the staff here. A true gem.
Love this place. Everyone is so friendly. Today I went and got a onion and garlic bagel and took it to work to eat and I pull out the first bagel and its plain. Kind of mad but ok. So I pull out the second bagel and its both garlic and onion tops and the first was the bottoms. I laughed so loud. It made my day and it was the best bagel ever. Lol
So I went today for a Chicago Dog 1st time Visiting this Place . So I Order My Hotdog And Wait And I Hear a Microwave Slam Several Times While I Waiting .I Was just Hoping It wasn't My Chicago Dog That I Just Ordered I Mean A Place That's Been Around As Long As This Place has Certainly Doesn't Use a Microwave to Cook Their Hot Dogs Or Warm Up The Buns.. So She handed me my Chicago Dog I work Across The Street I Park Open my Box it looks So Pretty ... As soon As I took the First Bite I Knew he was Microwaving My Hot Dog It Wasn't Fresh The Bread Was HARD On One Side and Than it Just Fell Apart Cause I took the Hard Bun Off Tied To Salvage What I Could With The Soft Part and Yeah Needless to Say it was just a Big Mess!! So My Thoughts On My 1st Visit They May have won Best deli for 2022 But Don't Order a Chicago Dog You Will be Very Disappointed and For $7.00 and A Tip To Boot!! What a Waste of $10.00 .. One Time For Me Won't Ever Go Back!!!
Great bagels. This place might not look like much on the outside, but there is plenty of great stuff on the inside. On this visit, I got the Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, and the French Toast. They're the real deal, crunchy shell on the outside, chewy on the inside.The blueberry was a bit underwhelming with flavor. Maybe that's the way an authentic bagel should be compared to the super flavorful bagels from other places, but I found it a bit lacking. However, the chocolate chip was full of chips and have a very solid chocolate flavor throughout.I haven't yet had the French Toast bagel. It doesn't seem to have all the cinnamon and maple chunks on the outside like other bagels I've had, but I'll save judgement until I've actually tried it. Still giving 5-stars because the authenticity is there.
Best salmon lox that ever graced this earth. Cinnamon buns are humongous soft and were right out the oven when I arrived. The frosting on them is soo delicious I was licking the plastic container! I had a regular huge Cinnamon bun and also had the huge pecan and whiskey Cinnamon bun and both are scrumptious and worth trying, just a heads up you can really taste the whiskey. The French toast is so well priced and the eggs were made perfectly! They also have these huuuuuggggeeeee pretzels that are so dang delicious. I highly recommend, limited seating to eat so I recommend take away!
Me and my family go there every other weekend for breakfast, and it has become one of my favorite places to eat! The people there are really nice and the food never disappoints!
