I had heard, and continue to hear so many great things about this place like , "Best Chicken in Town" and friendly service, but I have to disagree to a point.I can't say the service was out of the ordinary when ordering my food, I couldn't really hear the girl behind the counter and I guess she couldn't hear me, but my oder got placed. I really did appreciate seeing Mr Chatman going around to all the tables and checking in on e everyone.Never bring here before, I didn't know there was an original & spicy. I opted for the spicy and was disappointed that it's just a salty spice blend poured on top. Too salty and not spicy enough in my opinion. The CRUNCH of the breading was phenomenal as well as the tenderness of the meat. I hot the corn fritters but either they were too cold or breading too heavy, I did not enjoy them . The greens were good. I'll definitely be back to try the original and the nac n cheese cheese & green beans. From what I've heard those are also some great eating. They do have a wide variety.
It was our first time visiting and we will definitely be going back again real soon chicken was hot and delicious. The mac&cheese was very creamy and tasty and the herb in the mashed potatoes was something I never had before but was really good.
Hands down first time we tried this place and it was delicious! Definitely recommend and we will be back again
Been going here 7 years now BEST Lemon Pepper chicken and Corn nuggets in the City!!! Actually I just tried the Mac n Cheese first time last yr! OMGAWD!!! Finally some Homemade GOOD Mac n Cheese but you gotta hurry, they sell out early !!! I moved but I still go back when ever I can !!! Love this spot Great food, Great prices, Professional and Kind Staff, Clean and semi speedy service. Don’t want it too fast everything is hot and FRESH! Definitely recommend!!!!

Chatman’s Chicken is great food! The pieces of chicken are huge. We had not been there in a while and forgot this. We each took a huge piece home. The corn fritters are awesome and the mac and cheese is great too.

Stumbled on this place by accident. Just might be the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Can’t say enough about the food. The lemon pepper chicken was fantastic!! Definitely worth a visit.
Love this place they always have greens and corn bread and any kind of meat you could want. Friendly folks excellent customer service. The manager is awesome.
