Only been once so I've only had the trompo norteno style but it was pretty amazing. Meat was great, tortillas had a little crispiness like I like. Will definitely go back. Service was good, lady was attentive and the place was clean.
The fideo Loco was really good. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.
I LOVE the tacos Al vapor!!! The meat is so tender...also the hot sauce is spicy and soooo good. You can't get enough!!!!
I’ve been here many times but I always get the same plate which is a combo plate which comes with flautas Mexican enchiladas it’s real good but for once I’ve ventured out and got the Tacos nortenos asada.. there where freaking awesome!!!
My God first visit and purchased an asada burrito. The burrito, beans, sauteed onions, pepper, and salsa was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to try their tacos
This place here in the northeast of San Antonio is really good Authentic mexican I tried the Quesadilla called Pirata was fresh and was worth the price good portions also good service
This place is total trash. I knew this place was of very low quality, but a group wanted to go there to eat. I really didn't want to go ,but the majority was ok with it and our guest wanted to try somewhere new. And this place did not fail to what was expected, the food sucked as usual. The fideo soup or what it really is, salt water with noodles was terrible (Pro tip: when salt is not working, don't add more salt! Use an acid like vinegar or limes). I ordered the hotdog as it was the cheapest thing on the menu, and it was crusty and eventhough it had a whole bunch of things on it, it still tasted bland. And the service was worse that the food. The waitress never came by to see if we wanted drink refills or anything. I guess since I opted for the tap water rather than the bottled water that they sell for, they were not interested. They also stuck me with a gratuity charge for multiple people, eventhough the checks were split and my check was for 4 people. So be on the look out for that. The only thing there that was OK was the chips that they probably opened from a bag. So the next time you have a desire for real mexican food, keep driving and avoid this place like an overpriced gas station.
The food was delicious and the Restaurant was very cleaned. If I go back to San Antonio this is the spot I will be coming to.
The food was great! My dinner came with fideo and chips and salsa
Came to Chago's and the sign says it closes at 9 pm and it also states on Google that they do close at the same time. Showed up around 8:30 and they are closed. They had Workers inside . Not sure if they just want to go home early but either way they need to change posted hours if they don't plan on staying open as posted.
