Long wait times, small seating space. There was complimentary spa water while waiting. This place relies on technology for service, and what i mean is ordering and paying on your phone with a clicker button to request service. This was confusing for us. I ordered 2 iced latte flavors to try- first the pumpkin spice and then the horchata. Both were more strong coffee than the flavors. They needed more flavoring than they put, imo. I had (edit. Will finish review later)
Food was good, but not a 45 minute wait good. Also service was nonexistent. Literally dude came by said he would serve us and if we needed anything to hit the button. We were confused if we needed to order online or not because he said we could order thru him. Never happened ordered online. He never came by to ask if we were good but he did come check on the couple next to my friend and I and the table on the toe he end of us. Didn’t see him again until the check was to be paid.
Great atmosphere; When is came to incorporating technology w service they had buttons on the tables when service was needed however, I think the staff rely on it too heavily & did not check up on us to refill waters. My friend waited 30min for water after asking before getting up to get it herself. Fantastic food though, would definitely recommend to friends.
These folks know how to do brunch! They run an efficient process for check-in. They met every guest with a smile and were friendly & welcoming all morning/afternoon.Drinks and food were good. Items came out quickly and correct. Staff were the perfect balance of being totally thorough and helpful, while still servicing all tables. An outstanding service & brunch for anytime, but considering it's still during the pandemic and a time with so many challenges at play in the food/beverage, small business world - yesterday's brunch stood out even more. Well done! Will be back.
I wouldn’t say this was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. But it was Sunday at noon for a table of six and there was no wait. And a whole bottle for mimosas was only $12! I got the eggs Benedict and it was not good. the Barbacoa was watery and barley had flavor. I would come back for the good drink prices and atmosphere. The backyard was so spacious and beautiful
Luv the new location with a large area for outside seating. Sunday brunch was excellent with plenty of entrees to choose.
We are very open to trying new things and figured we would give it a shot but it was pretty disappointing. Plating doesn’t even make you want to take a picture and the food in and of it’s self wasn’t anything special. We ordered the chilaquiles that were just plain tortillas chips with an egg on top and a tiny bit of salsa on top of the eggs, there were potatoes on the side but they looked very ugly although the flavor was decent and a folded tortilla that we didn’t even try so can’t have an opinion on that. Also ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon. The bread seemed old it was tough and a bit hard to cut. Very little salmon and virtually no “chipotle hollandaise” we couldn’t taste the chipotle at all. It came with a side of fruit which was blueberries, green and red grapes, and maybe a quarter of a small strawberry all very fresh and wonderfully picked from what we could tell from the literal small handful of fruit we received. We also ordered a chai tea latte that didn’t have any chai taste but was overpowering with cinnamon and a caramel macchiato that was decent. We did appreciate that they had lactose free milk as an option because usually we are forced to get soy or almond. Except for when our food was brought to our table we never had anyone check on us until it was time to pick up the plates and all we were asked was If they could remove the plates not how we thought the food was or if they could bring us anything else. We more then likely will not be returning.
Disappointed in the change. Went from my go-to for a cozy and intimate coffee during the day or wine at night to a pricey brunch spot with a long wait. I quit going-- there are already a ton of brunch options with better prices and waits.
I loved the old location and vibe. The changes made were not for me. In the central Texas humidity I prefer indoor seating. I miss their old brisket quesadillas and tea selection . The prices have increased as well. I see what they’re aiming for but I just preferred a lot of the older stuff.
First time here and last. Went there for brunch on a Sunday with seven people in our party. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the food was good. The main downfall of this restaurant, in my opinion, is the porta potties located just a few feet away from the tables made for dining. The smell of them was awful and they were disgusting inside. The flies were terrible, probably because of the porta potties. Just wasn’t a clean atmosphere at all. The live music was good, but so loud we couldn’t visit amongst ourselves because we couldn’t hear. Although the food was good, it wasn’t good enough for us to return.
