Currently On a family road trip fromCalifornia visiting family here in San Antonio.My family was at target while I wanted to try places we don’t have in California. Saw this place and got the 10pc family meal with okra , rolls and mashed potatoes. It was really good. Chicken was hot and fresh. They also sell fried gizzards.The manager noticed me taking pictures and got to talking to him. He was absolutely nice.He gave me extra spicy and mild seasoning packets.
We ordered a family size chicken, ff, Mac & cheese with okra and let's not forget about the cookies! We had it delivered and let me say that all the food was so fresh and hot! We order Uber eats or Door Dash pretty often and most of the time the food is lukewarm at best. What great service we experienced! Thank you Bush's for the great meal!
Large, great-tasting chicken pieces.Coleslaw was fresh and crisp.The young man that was working the drive thru line was very respectful and polite.
Very overpriced for the quality and quality of food. Very rude people waiting on you. Ridiculous how drive thru set up. You get food before person in front of you and then when they are a rude person you are stuck behind them!!!
Where to start? I went through the drive-through this afternoon and and ordered 3 piece and a 2 piece just the chicken no drink that I get charged more than I'm supposed to. I waited a good while wondering if the guy had taken off with my card and then come back and I didn't see him go to any other vehicles so I was just waiting and seeing other vehicles getting there orders and leaving. Finally the kid comes and brings me my credit card and food so I'm thinking that is nice hot and fresh. I tipped them and went around to check my receipt because he was quick to crumble up my receipt and seeing that I was overcharged. I went inside and asked about the prices and the so called manager on duty said that the prices had gone up but when he looked he said that I was overcharged. He offered me jalapenos but I opted for rolls. I get back to work and we were going to eat but the food that I ordered was nothing near what I had asked for. And my CO worker's food was completely cold. I ordered an additional family fry. The chicken looked like it had been sitting there for a while and the fries were bad. I called to let the manager know and he wanted me to come back tomorrow To replace the meal but I have to bring back the entire order. I told them I'm here until midnight and I live on the other side of town and won't be back until next week. He told me to bring my food back at that time and they will replace it. So I have to keep my food that we ordered somewhere somewhere and bring it back in a week when I come back to the side of town. This is the 1st time that we've ever had a problem with Busch's chicken.
Chicken strips are to hard.& Coleslaws has no taste rolls are delicious ? love them Mac and cheese no flavor
Hace at eaten at this location multiple times, food is always fresh and even when theres a long line at the drive thru the food comes out decently quick. Orders have been accurate; the only problem has been lack of utinsils and napkina in the bag on more than one occasion.Usually order the chi ken livers here, but make sure to ask for them fresh, they will fry them up for you and they come out hot, where they almost melt in your mouth. Its worth the extra 5 minutes.
I actually like bushes better then golden chick. the bread rolls are so delicious! On many occasions I've told myself I should just order nothing but the bread rolls! Lol but their chicken is good too

Family Tenders were hot and sides were great. I Even added a extra side. Assistant Manager was fast and friendly. They always make it right.
