There was a nice selection of draft beer and margaritas to choose from. The area has indoor and outdoor seating. With picnic style tables and regular tables and chairs. The staff was courteous and helpful. Had the Philly cheese steak that came with fries. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was hot and fresh. My only comment is that the sandwich could have used a little more cheese. However, with that being said; the bun was toasted and fresh and the fries were hot and fresh.
Our son invited us here to enjoy a few drinks and Mom and I had such a wonderful time. We definitely need to come back when we can hear a band or DJ so we can get the full experience. But we had a great time the service was fantastic the drinks were cold thank you!
Great place, wings were awesome, but about two to times more than I'm used to paying. Know if it's their store or if it's Biden's America. Most likely the latter is for paying more for everything because of his decisions. The atmosphere is hip gritty and it's fantastic. It has great inside seating as well as a large outside garden area.I'd highly recommend it for some of the food and the atmosphere.
Unfortunately had a disappointing experience at this bar restaurant. The Burleson Yard Beer Garden is situated in a great location and attractive plaza area. There is ample parking in the front, however, there are other businesses and the lot was filling up.By the entrance in the parking lot there is a Pearl supply truck, which appears to be on display and nice to see preserved. On entry of the establishment you can see an open concept layout of tables and bench chairs, a direct view of the back of the bar and outside area. There are neon signs and various display pieces such as a motorcycle to help create an ambience in the place. I found the overall look of the bar to be busy, but very picturesque. There was a concern on the maintenance of the tables as they did not look to be clean and its uncertain the last time the signs or items throughout the bar were cleaned or dusted off.It took time to receive service despite there being multiple tenders behind the bar. There was one individual assisting and ringing up patrons. Because of this a line was being generated when the other bartenders could have easily started an order. After waiting, there was a laminated menu on the table to select the desired items from the food truck.Anticipating a great experience, I had stopped by with my partner. She requested the Pearl beer, which was out of stock. I found this to be interesting since they had the Pearl truck outside in front as if to promote the brand. Instead she ordered a Pacifico beer and I had ordered a Karbach Love Street beer. These were provided in their respective bottle and can. There was also food available made by the food truck outside in the back area. This food could be ordered at the front. I had ordered a modified mushroom Swiss burger and requested a veggie patty. My partner ordered a cheeseburger and added on avocado. We were provided a restaurant pager. The food truck in the back appeared to be run by a single individual and did not seem to be cleaned often as there were old grease stains against the wall that were easily seen from standing outside the food truck. The food that came out was not tasty and we could barely eat it. The bun did not seem fresh and my patty did not seem to be cooked all the way through. Our food came with fries that were not tasty or satisfying. The food was not enjoyable and felt like a waste of money. The outside area seemed busier as there were games to play. After this experience it is clear to see that the beer garden has a lot of potential, however, better maintenance of the space and perhaps an upgrade would be better for the establishment. Due to the bad experience I do not plan on returning.
I live in Austin but when I went in for a concert at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, we stopped in here first for a drink or two. Never heard of it before but saw pretty good reviews on here. We had a pretty chill time. The outside area was nice (hot- but that’s just outdoor Texas). I don’t know the “normal vibe” of the place but seemed to be a bunch of people and some kids playing on the playground and such. Saw ping pong tables. Kind of wanted to play. Haha. It was a good time.
Simple indoor and outdoor bar that mixes up the food available for purchase. Never had a bad thing to say about the food, which ranges from Burgers to street tacos. All the bartenders are friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable. There is also live music from time to time. It does get packed yes - but rightfully so. It's a very chill place to hang out at.
A great sports bar and outside patio place to meet up with friends for any event. When hanging out with friends this normally or first stop. The patio and outdoor area is the best part of this place. You can sit and enjoy the weather. Also before 9pm you can bring the kids which is a definite benefit. Also they are dog friendly so you can bring your fur baby along as well. I recommend ring this place out
Good spot just east of downtown, easy parking and plenty of outdoor seating. They offer food as well, bar has good craft beer options. The margaritas are great and local influenced.Go visit if you want to be outside and just get a taste where locals go.
Such a cool spot. Lots of tables and chairs. Dog Friendly which is a big plus! The menu is simple but tasty for burgers for less than $10. Frozen margs for the win!!!!
Very good beer garden for a tasty drink and delicious food prior to Spurs game time. Would definitely return to for thirsty Thursday or drink after work.
