Great place to grab a sandwich, salad or even pizza! The Los Angeles sandwich was delicious and great combination. The owner was a delight to visit with and they are very friendly and welcoming. It was a joy to dine there while visiting San Antonio!
Walked all over town looking for a deli, we found a Gem! My husband and I got an Italian salad each, and a slice of pizza. Delicious!!!!!! Such a clean, affordable, and friendly place. Best wishes to Arnold on his new place! We will be back!
Best sandwich spot in town ??Hands Down!?? I got their Cleveland Sandwich and it was AMAZING. Sliced corn beef served hot, some swiss cheese and this magical house made sauce all between this perfectly toasted sourdough bread. Their coleslaw was creamy and DELICIOUS. Their house salad was amazing with whatever dressing they suggested. I mean, this is definitely going to be my #1 sandwich go-to spot from here on out. No doubt about it. Next time, I'mma try their Pizza.
Great owner, helpful staff. I had the San Antonio sandwich and some pizza. Fantastic food - delicious! And very reasonably priced.
I love this place!! Everything I have eaten here has been great, love their hot dogs. I also love it's downtown for people who work and need a great lunch.
Hands down the best Waldorf salad I have ever had! The staff was really attentive and professional. As soon as you walk in you get hit with the smell fresh bread and immediately get hungrier. With so few options for healthy food downtown at a reasonable price not to mention the portion is perfect for a stand alone meal this place is the best so far!

New place and we were walking by to get Asian and decided to give it a try.Had a slice of pizza and a Chicago Dog since I couldn't decide.Both were excellent. The pizza was freshly cooked, watched him hand toss it, unsure if the dough is homemade. Crust was perfect thickness and only $3/ big slice.Dog was fabulous.Super friendly staff, likely the owners, maybe father / son. I'll be back for sure.
Stopped in for a quick sandwich and was welcomed with such friendly staff and the delicious smell of pizzas and more. I got the Los Angeles but didn't want ham so they subbed the ham with more turkey. Such an amazing place. Food is perfection and the tone of the restaurant gave me the "everybody is family and friends" vibes. I will definitely give this more stars if possible. As well as recommend to anyone visiting or living in the area.
Delicious food and friendly staff! We stopped in during a day trip from Austin to SA for a show at the Tobin. We had the Los Angeles and it was amazing. The jalapeno mayo is perfect, and I typically am not a fan of mayo. I had a bowl of the tomato basil soup and it was divine. My fav tomato basil soup was from La Madeline but this has replaced it!Thank you for being open late when other shops in the area were closed! We would have missed a great meal.I can't wait for my next girl trip to go back and try the pizza I have been reading about!
