Not only was I refused entry for having a neck/face tattoo, the bouncer was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional to mostly anyone trying to get inside.
I’ve been a regular at Brass for the past few years (even before covid), and I always have had a great time. After reading some of the recent reviews it definitely sounds like someone is purposely targeting Brass. As a frequent patron, I wanted to share that I’ve never had a bad experience at Brass. I am a female and this is the go to bar for all my girlfriends and myself. I’ve never experienced being drugged or treated poorly here. We actually always feel safe here because the security/staff seem to be on top of any unruly behavior and any one who’s to intoxicated. Also I’ve never had issues with any of the bartenders overcharging me or being unprofessional in any manner, I think the people who say they are overcharged just don’t realize how drinks can add up, especially after a few. Brass will forever be my regular hangout, I love Emo night and I will always recommend coming here for a good and safe time!
Go to the bars next door to the left of the entrance of this bar.Those bars had much friendlier staff.I got grabbed my staff here after I told them I just needed to get my IDIt took waiting 2hrs just to get my ID.1st impression was terrible.Never going back again.This 1 star review is deserved.
I was drugged here along with some of my friends by the bartenders back in 2016. I thought I left review guess I forgot, that why I’m so late. Don’t trust this place haven’t been back, I was a regular but forget that. Pretty sure they were trying to drug my friend because she ordered the drink but it was for me. I was there with 4 other girls. 2 of them also were drugged we all felt super sick and had to go to the hospital that night and we only had one drink and got test for roofies tested positive. Thought I let y’all know. My friends made a police report I didn’t because I was ashamed since I’m guy.
I came here to have fun with my boyfriend and ended up roofied. Do not trust the bartenders, we had ordered margaritas and after we noticed that they did not taste how a margarita should taste. They tasted weird, we ended up blacking out and confused. I should have read the reviews before I came here. Avoid this bar at all costs. Thank God we left when we did, God knows what might have happened if we stayed…..
Came on emo night. Don’t go to the emo looking girl, light complexion, Hispanic, dyed blonde hair, emo like make up. She was the only female bartender the night I went. She charged me extra on the card and even through away the receipt when I asked for it. Go here often but this was the first bad experience that this happened so I’m assuming it was just her.
I used to like it here but I was denied entry a few weeks back for stumbling a bit over my stiletto heel as my feet were hurting after walking up the unleveled sidewalk. It was embarrassing and I felt it was targeted by the security person because I seen him let other tipsy people in the group of friends I was with. Either way we went down the street to Hitones and they let me in and we had a good time.
I was denied entry because of my neck tattoo. Talk about judgement and discrimination at it’s finest. I will never go here again and I will tell my friends and family to never give them another penny. Thanks for being judgmental!
It's ok, if you like crowded places, and watered down $1 drinks on Thursdays or as they call it Thursgays, and
Owner’s priorities are upside down. He’s discriminatory, would rather have drunk people throughout the club than let people with neck/face tattoos in. Also haven’t seen some of the security or bartenders in a while… on vacation, or fired? Either way, they definitely knew how to get the job done, so I hope they’re still working, and would love to see them. However a couple of the other bartenders are rude. Other customers also feel entitled to act in rude manners, especially when they claim they know the owner. If they really do then it goes to show the kind of bs he allows. Definitely avoid going here if you want to have a good night out.
