The biggest plus for this restaurant was that it was less than 5min walking from the hotel. I mean you can't beat that. We had fresh guacamole made at the table which I have never seen before. I barely had room for my entree. The Texas Filet of sirloin with Frites definitely pleased my palate and the Blackened Gulf Coast was equally tasty. The food along with the service was phenomenal.
Sarah was awesome shrimp and grits, guacamole at the table. Drinks great. Would go again. Nice ambiance and Sarah was !!
Susan was our waitperson and she did an amazing job! She suggested the shrimp and grits and it was crazy good! My husband had the blackened prime rib and loved it.
Service and food is outstanding. The steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork, the wine list is excellent and don't forget dessert. I recommend the lime chess pie.
Boudro's Texas Bistro is outstanding and deserves its rating as one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in San Antonio. We had dinner there and were seated right along the Riverwalk. While enjoying the view we were provided impeccable service and delectable food. The FRESH guacamole - prepared tableside was amazing-best we have ever had. This was followed by a flavorful Bacon/Salmon salad. Finally we shared a bowl of fabulous Shrimp & Grits which rates up there with the best shrimp and grits we ever had. No question - this needs to be on your list of San Antonio restaurants to experience!
Excellent food, Excellent service. The Blackened PrimeRib was phenomenal!! A bit crowded and loud but tolerable. We will definitely return.
Great food and service. The guacamole is made fresh at your table and it’s delicious. We would definitely return and recommend.
Enjoyed our lunch here. The tableside guacamole was wonderful - they use orange juice in it, too. Tortilla chips was so good. I had the enchiladas, and hubby had the prime rib sandwich. Sat inside, but had a view of the river.
So we were here 2 days in a row because of the incredible homemade guacamole that they make. Could not find another place in San Antonio that did this. Our waitress, Vanessa, probably one of the best servers that we have had in a very long time treated us very well. I recommend her!! She made us feel welcome and took very good care of us throughout our entire meal. The prickly pear margarita is delicious and so worth it!!
Food was decent. I made reservations about 2 weeks ago and requested to be seated overlooking the river because we were celebrating my husband's birthday and I wanted it to be special but when we arrived we were told they did not have any tables, they said we could wait for one but it would be approx 30+ minute wait. We were not able to wait because we already had other plans. My husband ordered the sirloin steak, it was lacking flavor honestly. I ordered the blue crab seacakes, I liked it. Overall, it was OK.
