Today I tried a different Barbecue place just to see if it was better since it had good ratings as well and I was very disappointed! I instantly thought about Bobeqs and how great it is ! This man has mastered BBQ. I highly recommend coming to this place! Every visit is awesome and the brisket literally melts in your mouth. I read a previous post with low ratings stating it has no flavor and I truly believe that man must have had COVID during the time of trying this place out because there is nothing but fantastic flavors. They deserve 5 stars ( :
The food was delicious! We ordered the Macdaddy and that brisket just melts in your mouth.
I enjoy bbq and saw all great reviews so wanted to give this a try. Very friendly and quick service. Ordered plain brisket sandwich which was ok. Needed a little sauce. The jalapeno poppers needed to be cooked a little more cream cheese wasn't melted. The Mac n cheese was not edible it tasted like heavily chlorinated metallic tap water. We also ordered half pound of brisket but it was mostly fat. Not sure if it was an off night or if things have changed. I so wanted it to be good.

Super yummy and flavorful bbq! Friendly staff and awesome location. We ordered the brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage, potato salad, and chipotle slaw. Excellent flavorful food! Get there early before they sell out!
Best BBQ in town! I love Bob's brisket and the jalapeño poppers are the bomb! Drive thru for quick order and pickup or outdoor seating to enjoy the whole BobeQs experience! Always top of the line customer service!
The food was soooo good, and the presentation was great! Definitely will be coming back here often.
Brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender and pork ribs the same, had a pile of the cleanest bones at the end of our meal. Also very thoughtful and friendly service; when they realized they were out of a side we had ordered online, we were substituted a different side free of charge. Everything had the perfect amount of smoky flavor, and included potato bread and BBQ sauce were great quality; will definitely be returning soon.
I love the Barbeque here! I have traveled hours just to eat at BobeQs. I have truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere this place is a hidden gem. The owner Bob is a delight. I have made it a must have location to go to when I am In San Antonio. I've enjoyed the BobZilla and the pulled pork Tacos. I have hard time finding any barbeque place that could match the flavors of the food.
OMFG!!!Got some brisket put it on a piece of bread, add some coleslaw, pickles, onion and add a bacon wrapped jalapeno popper - then drizzle some bbq sauce...I'm telling you it does not get any better than that!Best damn brisket in town(- I know it almost seems a shame to do anything to it but trust me!
