Atmosphere is good. They have beer inspired drinks and I got the mojito which was good. Service was terrible. Loaded nachos pretty good but the brisket tacos were terrible. It was just a piece of dry brisket inside a flour tortilla. Literally that’s it.
Our server was so nice and super friendly! However, the rest of our experience was not good. In case anyone is considering the avocado tacos, it is just a corn tortilla with a slice of avocado. That is all.
It's very easy to miss this place if you're not looking for it. A friend of mine and I were actually making a u-turn looking for a different restaurant and decided to give BSB a shot. We were NOT disappointed! Try the American Oak smoked ribs and the garlic fries... hell, try anything and the garlic fries. Fantastic service and local brew... you can't go wrong!
Great place to grab a quick bite for dinner or a late lunch! The beer inspired cocktails are a nice twist! The craft beer is great as well as the service! Parking can be a tad tricky here on the weekends!
It seemed like an off night when we arrived. I think they were understaffed considering they had an event going on that evening. Props to the server who was going nonstop trying to cover more tables than she should have been assigned. That said, the beer was good. The food was okay. The food wasn't seasoned well, and no salt or pepper was available at the tables. The fries were undercooked as well. All in all, a fairly "meh" experience.
I visited San Antonio in 2018 while attending ASTRO conference and took many pictures during this time. I had a great meal at the Blue Star Brewing Company and a tasty beer. Enjoy!
Great local brewery featuring tasty beers and food. Excellent location on the San Antonio river walk. Take a walk and stop in for great tasting beer.
Waitress was fantastic. She was very kind and extremely helpful. Love the life music.

Horrible service and horrible food. Stay Away! Took over a half hour to get drinks and another half hour. The salmon was disgusting and not cooked properly. They ran out of ketchup!
