Got the brisket plate with two sides. Meat was down right delicious! The two sides were not right. Potato salad was bland and the fries were ok but a few had dark spots. Next time will only get the meat, this is a sure winner.
Went to Blanco BBQ. It took almost 2 hours to get our order. As I was checking to make sure we received all items the manager got upset. Sure enough the order was short 2 lbs of meat. Manager didn’t believe me and had to “check for himself”. Horrible customer service. This was the 3rd time we’ve had a problem with an order at Blanco BBQ. Won’t be going back to Blanco BBQ.
Amazing as always! I came here when they first opened in 2013 and have not been disappointed! The food and ambiance are great. The ribs are a little salty but still good.
1st time visit, had the large plate of meats. Very delicious, our other table mates enjoyed Chicken fried steak and sausages. The sides were all on point. Cream corn was savory, mashed potatoes was yummy as well. Offered military discount which is always a plus. Thank you. Have to visit more often now that we enjoyed this delicious BBQ.
Great atmosphere! Food was delicious and the staff were very kind and friendly. Starts out that you get in the queue and order then you go find an open picnic table. They call your number then you enjoy. Went with 2 vegetarian people as well and they enjoyed the food as well.We got the meat plater, for the meat eaters. It came with ham, sausage, ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. We opted for the mashed potatoes and the Mac and cheese for our sides. It came with a few slices of white bread as well. The vegetarians ordered Mac and cheese, baked potato, fried okra, fried mushrooms, and Cole slaw. They also offer a pickle bar that has lots of different pickles and pickled vegetables to add to your orders at no extra charge.Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. All the meat was seasoned well enough that they didn't need the BBQ sauce, but I still tried each one.We all even rang the bell when we left to show just how much we enjoyed the food and the service.I highly recommend this place for anyone even vegetarians. It's got a little something for everyone and we'll definitely be back!!
Best BBQ I've found in the San Antonio area. Texas sized portions at a great prize. Some reviews stated the restaurant was overpriced, but I actually found it to be much cheaper than many inferior places. I went with a 5 meat sampler (about 1/4lb each) that came with 2 sides all for under $22.Food and atmosphere were great. Indoor and outdoor seating options, with a play set for kids. I will definitely be back next time in San Antonio.
Food was great! We ordered the the 4 ribs with 2 sides and it was very filling! Also a kids plate of 2 chicken tenders and Mac and cheese on the side. It wasn't very busy noted we did go on a Monday afternoon. We were served within 10 mins after ordering and has a very nice environment ?
This place is a must go for any bbq lover. The food was terrific and seasoned properly. Not too salty and not bland. Way better than Rudy's. The evening I went there was almost an hour long wait but this was due to them being short staffed. The place was spacious and there is a sort of jungle gym in the back for the kiddos to play around. Their bathrooms were decent enough but the men's room needed to be looked after. I highly recommend everyone to try this place at least once. The prices are a little high but not Rudy's high. The food is definitely worth every penny you spend and more so. I ordered the house special and was barely able to finish. A LOT of food. Great portuon servings.
My experience is mostly good. Spacious inside and has outdoor seating. Plenty of options of food. Would recommend when it’s busy.
We were really excited to try this place. Food was OKAY. The chicken strips our kids got were probably the best thing we ordered. Brisket was so tough and dry and all the flavor came from the BBQ sauce. Bread on the side was also super dry. Prices were fine and we did love the patio with a playground but honestly taking bill miller's to the park would've been a better option
