I googled “Michelada” close by and this restaurant popped up. Given that I live in the area, I decided to stop by. I wish I had known about this place sooner!!! What a treat! The michelada was Amazing and I’m a pretty tough miche critic. The owner was on the floor and was extremely helpful as well as my waitress. He recommended their strawberry infused Jalapeño margarita (I was again skeptical on how this could taste). It actually tasted like a strawberry lemonade!! ? Dangerous, I know. My meal consisted of the fish taco plate, a cup of pozole… perfect pozole btw. And a cup of the fideos and corn. Needless to say, I will most def be returning. Their open back patio is the perfect setting to bring and treat clientele.
Came here on a pretty warm evening and wad delighted to have been sat inside although the outdoor seating is sooooo cute! Our waitress was great! Quickly served us waters and had patience while my husband took forever to decide what he wanted (he wanted it all).We both settled on ordering a create our own combo meal.I picked the chicken poblano empanada and the grilled fish taco. Both were soooo big that I had to take half my food home. The taco came with so much grilled fish which I appreciated. A side of ranchero beans and rice were included and honestly I could have also just eaten those sides by themselves.Highly recommend and will return!5/5 customer service5/5 food quality5/5 recommend
We were on vacation and had planned to eat here after seeing an episode of this restaurant highlighted on DDD on Food Network. We enjoyed the outside seating area. The food was fantastic. The fish taco, the poblano empanada and street corn were delicious. The owner, Chris, introduced himself and chatted with us for a while. We will definitely visit again when we travel back to the area.
I went on Tuesday & Wednesday for dinner. On Tuesday the fish taco was excellent, on Wednesday it lacked freshness. The ceviche was white in color and I first thought it was tofo. On both days they made ingredient substitutes without making any comments when ordering or after delivering food to the table. Sweet potatoes fries was switched out with tortilla chips, and they left the egg out of the Brazilian empanada. When you commented on it it was like it’s not a big deal.
My family and I came to this restaurant for the first time, and we were not impressed at all. We came here b/c we saw it on "Diners Drive-Ins and Dives". The grilled fish tacos were just ok, and our beans and rice were lukewarm. The "Chicken Poblano Empanada" was good and hot, that's the only thing that came out fresh. Honestly, for a ticket over $100.00, we were expecting a lot more. We were not even greeted when we walked in, nor were we asked how our food was. We also were not even told thank you, nor even spoken to as we left, we just received stares. Needless to say, we will NEVER be back!
We absolutely loved it here. The ceviche was wonderful. I got the grilled fish, al pastor and chicken poblano empanada. All were fantastic. We will be coming back.
Stopped in for lunch during a business trip to San Antonio. The outdoor seating area was relaxing and comfortable, and the service was friendly. Had the Al Pastor tacos for lunch and the portions were just right. Food was outstanding! I will definitely mark this down for a stop the next time I’m in town. The location being relatively close to the airport got me here, but the food, service, and atmosphere will bring me back!
What are these fools taking about? This place is delicious! The guava tacos, fish tacos, margaritas all are incredible! Not to mention the incredible service!!! My girl Yovana might have the biggest heart in the city. No it is not a first date spot it. It is the I’m in love and want solid food and drinks destination. This is for real people!!
To give your tastebuds a rocket ride to new heights, add BETO’S to your navigation. Clean and fun decor, with great service, the cast at BETO’S made this experience one that deserves 5 stars. Proven on the DDD stage and by my experience the two item combo with a chicken poblano empanada and taco Al Pastor stands on top of the culinary rocket ride. I can also give 5star testimony to the great flavors of the grilled pollock taco. Buckle up and make BETO’S a must for great flavors and reasonable prices.
Al Pastor & Fish tacos made on scratch tortilla! Don't sleep on food in weird places in town. The street corn & charro beans quite tasty. The Salas were amazing, grab the green for the fish and houses salsa was down right drinkable. Definitely adding this to the redo list!
