We met a friend at Best Quality Daughter for lunch on Tuesday Nov. 2. It was our second time at the restaurant. Overall, I love this place and will definitely be back!On this absolutely beautiful day, we sat outside per our friend's request. I can't recommend the outside seating due to it's proximity to the highway. The traffic noise was loud, and to me, distracting. If that isn't a thing for you then you may enjoy it.We ordered from the lunch menu. The prices on the lunch menu were pretty good (esp. for the Pearl) and the portions were not small. Phew. The server was enjoyable, borderline entertaining. But ... all 4 of our entrees came out at 3 different times. It was uncomfortable because our friend is older and a slower eater and his came out much later than all of ours. All of the food is tasty, lovely and absolutely beautiful to look at.My husband and I both ordered the salt and pepper shrimp. It came with the peels, legs and tails intact. This was not a problem for my husband. He picked the legs and tails off and ate the shells. Ugh. I was not going to do this. Picking the peels off was a bit tedious and there was sooo much red (chili ?) oil on it that I went through napkins like crazy and felt like a cave man going at my food. Neither of us would order that entree again. My daughter had the stuffed tofu and ate half of it. She said it was good but didn't want a go-box. Our friend had the cashew chicken. He said he enjoyed it.The ice cream sandwiches were incredibly tasty, though not super easy to it. So tasty ... worth a couple awkward moments for me. ;)The restauranteurs come across as very clever and creative people. The indoor seating areas are really cool. The drink names though! The drinks have the funniest and most witty names. It all makes for a great experience.I give it a solid 4.5. (Why won't Yelp let me do half a star? ugh.)PS The first time we ate here we ordered the dan dan noodles and fried rice and I'm still thinking about them. SOOOO delicious. I will get those next time ... and the short rib noodles. YUM!

Probably the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The whole ambience of the place is an experience.

My daughter and granddaughter brought me there leftovers- and it was amazing - great food-will visit you soon

The highlight of the Pearl. We loved the food and the vibe at this unique take on Asian and kitch. From the decorations to the name to the food, this place is different.

Flat out phenomenal food. All the food was amazing. The short rib noodles and the pork fried rice were the best dishes. The green beans shouldnt be passed over either. All had good spice levels. The popcorn chicken was also perfectly crisp and not not too dry or greasy. The pepper shrimp had a wonderfully light batter and the noodles were great.

Got the black bean noodles and a shrimp dish. We were expecting them to be good, but not as good as it actually was! Wow, blown away by the flavors and textures! The service was good and the food came out extremely fast! You'll need to make a reservation to come here, but it's worth it and they are professional enough to honor the reservation and be ready for you unlike other places. Fantastic experience ?

I love restaurants that have happy hour. (5pm-6pm) Especially when you know you're getting a good deal. When I read that this is one of the best restaurants in Texas, I knew I had to try it. The popcorn chicken appetizer was amazing. The sauces that come with the appetizers are amazing. All the entrees were on point. This place definitely lives up it its reviews.

Incredible recommendation! In town just for a day and so happy we made this choice for a meal! The service was helpful and friendly. The food had so much flavor. Every bite offered something elevated and delicious. The mochi hush puppies were so unique, and beautful. Definitely a spot to visit when traveling.

This place is awesome. Some of the best Asian food with a US twist I’ve had in a while. Great setting and an excellent well curated menu that isn’t overwhelming. We had the spring rolls, Brussel sprouts, gyoza and the Kraprow fried rice (Spicy). This place is absolutely worth a visit. I’d love to see a very tasty Xiao Long Bao added to the menu too!

Decided to have lunch here, especially after the great reviews. This place is so cute with wonderful employees. We started out with the Mochi Cheddar Hush Puppies. These were so good full of warm cheddar cheese. I ordered the Cashew Chicken which is probably the best I have ever had! My daughter order the Short Rib Bro which was disappointing. So she shared mine. I simply had a coke to drink and my daughter ordered the Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade which was very good. Overall fun eclectic place to go to.
