Tried this coffee shop for the first time. The barista recommended the vanilla earl brew and it was delicious! I’ll definitely be back. Great customer service + delicious = Another reason to go local!
Somehow I had never heard of this coffee shop. It's directly across from the Witte and has it's own little parking lot right in front of it. There's plenty of seating options and the place has a cool open-concept look. The barista greeted me right as I walked inside and he was friendly. The drink came out quick and it was okay. The espresso was decent but kinda weak. I liked being able to see clearly where the milk and fruits were being stored. They do smoothies, which I would be interested in returning to try.
Smoothies and brews are always freshly made. Baristas are friendly and quick to fill an order. Plenty of outlets to power up while studying. Parking can be scarce but worth a walk if you park next door.
Close to the Witte Museum before I go to Cocktails and Culture. Quiet place and not packed. Coffee is good not great. Service is good not great. If you want to avoid the noise and be close to the Witte come check it out
Great spot for coffee or smoothies and chilling. I really liked the music that was playing as well. It made the environment very relaxed and enjoyable.
I have been to Berry to Bean Coffee House on Broadway several times and it is always a treat! The pop tarts are tasty, and I’ve tried the lavender cappuccino, the peanut butter mocha latte, and the iced toffee latte - all are fantastic! The staff is also friendly, and it is a good place to study/do homework if you need to kill time.
Employees were nice and atmosphere of this shop is very warm and cozy.. buuut why is the barista BLOWING off excess espresso from the portafilter. This was gross and a huge turn off, ruined my experience.
I came here on a Sunday evening and the regular brew coffee was not only hot, it was fresh! Only thing is …. I’m not sure why coffee shops like this one and others in San Antonio don’t leave the creamer and honey out for self serve. How long before they catch up with the rest of the world? I know it saves money BUT Management has baristas being tight with pouring enough.Thank you!
Service was friendly and polite. My smoothie was delicious but super duper sweet ('peach please' flavor) I wish it came in a smaller size -I couldn't finish it and it was a bit pricey. I would come back to try other items
I had a honey lavender latte and it was amazing!!! The barista was also very affable. The only thing that was rough was the price. It cost me $6.50 for my latte. I’d recommend stopping in.
