Food here was simply delicious. We came in for a beer and ended eating two appetizers and a meal. The mofongo with shrimp was by far the best mofongo i have ever had up to this point. The mahi mahi dish was perfectly cook with a tomato and coconut sauce, that is making my mouth water as I type this, on top of a bed if saffron rice. I will be eating here again soon.
Had a great dinner on a Thursday evening. The house bread is delicious. Had the mahi-mahi and salmon. Salmon had a little spice and the mahi was very refreshing. Awesome atmosphere. Reasonably priced for the quality and portion size.
Neighborhood Gem! First time here, with a bunch of foodies and they raved about how good the food was. I grew up in Philadelphia and we had a similar restaurant called Mixto- variety of Latin cuisine in a fun lively environment. This place did not disappoint on any level. Make a reservation they fill up fast. Every bite was so flavorful if we weren’t already stuffed we would have ordered another entree.
You can get tired of Tex-Mex really quick when visiting San Antonio so I was very excited when I discovered this place! While it's not off the river walk, it's not that far (downtown) and my family walked it from our hotel. Plus there are plenty of bikes/scooters to rent laying around the sidewalk. My parents were so excited that they had seafood dishes. The food is DELICIOUS and their portions are HUGE (can probably feed two)! Their prices are also awesome considering it's in tourism territory. I got a churrasco for $19! I was joking with my waitress that the side salad could have been a meal itself! I believe it turns into a bar/club after the restaurant closes. I'll definitely be coming back when visiting SA again!
The location is tucked onto a small street at the edge of The city proper. The food was fresh, perfect temp and service was prompt. The ceviche was ice cold and spicy without destroying the palate. The shrimp Diablo with dirty rice was a great balance between spicy and rich. I’ve never had coconut flan, but this was amazing as well. Highly recommend.
I have to say it was excelente . The drink , appetizer, dinner and dessert. All was good and service was 5 star also . I will come again to try another dish.
My favorite mojito spot! We usually come in for happy hour for a break on drinks, but we still order off the dinner menu. My faves are the tuna crudo and the chicken fogon, and we usually share both. Adrian is the best!
About 12 of us had dinner and drinks there. It is cozy and welcoming with distinctive artwork. The appetizers and entrees were unique and the presentation of each dish was outstanding. I had shrimp diablo and it was fantastic. Prices were very reasonable and they gave us all separate checks. Not a bad walk from the Grand Hyatt.
From appetizers through dessert food & service were excellent! Outdoor sitting area was spacious. Highly recommend.
We are new to the San Antonio/ South Town area and have been exploring new restaurants each weekend. This by far was the best food and service we’ve received. Everything from appetizers, dinner, dessert and cocktails was done with flavor, care, and the plating was perfect. We will definitely go again
