Stopped here on our way from the Alamo on a recommendation from a local. So glad we found it amidst the road closure and fencing in front of the main entrance. Food was delicious! Hubby had ribs and I had chicken. Great service as well. And, the place is decorated perfectly!! Highly recommend. Wish we lived by so we could visit again.
First time visitor. Loved it! Had the 2 meat plate, brisket & sausage, with 2 sides, couldn't finish it! The brisket had awesome flavor, not at all dry, sauce was tangy but not overwhelmingly sweet. Sausage was cooked to perfection. Loved my creamed corn & cole slaw. ? And my frozen mango margaritas was super delicious! and after just a few sips, I had a good buzz before I even made it to our table. My husband did the 3 meat combo and had no complaints (what's not to like about meat). We will definitely be back!
It's a pretty good place. I liked the chill atmosphere, the strong drinks and most of all the tasty bbq. I can't believe I never been here before. It's a pretty big spot and it's down town. Doesn't have the downtown price like Pinkerton's. They have combo plates and happy hour. Have steaks , burgers and salads in addition to the normal BBQ items. The Mac and cheese was my favorite side and I had some chili cheese fries / fritos that were delicious. The brisket was fall apart tender.
Even though there is some road construction and detours it’s worth it. I love the community give back Augie’s has going on! Everyone in our party enjoyed there food. Wonderful sauce with nice smoky flavour! Moist and tender meat. Great sides and good portion sizes. We were happy to see Wisconsin included in wall decor. Highly recommend!
First off Great customer service and friendly staff.I been here before and it was great. Came for the 2nd time. I had the chopped beef brisket sandwich. This was is so good. The pull pork is a must have. It is so smoky and flavorful, that no sauce is required! The boyfriend and I split a 3 meat/2side tray for around 20$ total. A lot of food. Nothing disappointing.
