Hidden sushi gem located close to Huebner Oaks shopping center. Dined for dinner with a party of 4. The restaurant was relatively empty when we arrived but started getting busier at around 6:30. They have a great sushi menu and also offer Japanese and Korean comfort food. For the appetizer, we got the Karaage Chicken and Calamari Tempura. I've never had Karaage Chicken in thin, almost french fry type strips but it was delicious. The batter was crispy and thin and the chicken was perfect. They do fried food really well. For sushi, we ordered the Tuna Tataki Don (served over rice), the Cherry Blossom Roll, the Riverwalk Roll, the Yama Roll, and an order of the Hamachi Toro sashimi. The sushi was very fresh and I appreciated that the rolls weren't overly drenched in sauce. The Yama Roll is an excellent value for $15. It's salmon sushi with a huge serving of baby scallops. It was delicious, especially if you are a fan of spicy mayo. The Hamachi Toro melted in our mouths and the Riverwalk Roll had a surprising crunch to it and was visually stunning with the differed colored fish roe. Overall, it was a pleasing dining experience. Would recommend!
Absolutely delicious sushi! We were greeted right away and sat down quickly during lunch time. Our server was very attentive all while she was training. Our rolls came out first and then our hot roll wasn't to far behind. Delicious and flavoral all around. Definitely coming back to this spot. So convenient from work.Pictured: Spider Roll and Philadelphia rollNext is the New Orleans roll topped with shrimp and eel sauce.
Nice decent place for Sushi.Everything was fresh, nothing outstanding to brag about and nothing to complain about either.??
Cozy little place to grab some lunch. Semi enclosed booths for privacy are a plus. Sushi was slightly above average. Their honey wasabi sauce is the real MVP, highly recommended. My only nitpick was that my water had a small black "thing" floating in it.Other than that, I trying this place out at least once.
Best, creamiest salmon I've tasted in my life, oh my God. Will be back.
I had their lunch special to-go and dine-in, both times amazing! A lot of food for $12!!! Will be back again!
Amazing little spot in a small strip mall by Huebner and Vance Jackson. Service is always incredible and the atmosphere welcoming.Great spot to stop by happy hour for awesome specials. Highly recommend for lunch, dinner or even just having a snack while waiting for traffic to die down.
I love their tuna tataki don! So delicious! Their kimchi fried rice is also bomb! So good I can't help but keep coming back and ordering these items. I just can't get enough!
Our experience was not very great, there were very long wait times for the fried rice and all of our orders were being brought out incomplete; were were getting the entrees without the rice and the appetizers were being brought after the main entrees. Our drinks were very rarely refilled u less we flagged somebody down to our table. This wouldn't really be a big issue but the place was empty and we were the only party there at the time. The food itself was okay, it wasn't terrible, but there are way better spots elsewhere to be honest. We did not like this visit and sadly wont be back again.
Amazing nigiri. Rice was perfectly seasoned, rolls were great too. Fair prices, happy hour deals looked good.
