Great atmosphere for a laid back burger with quality taste. It’s dimly lit as you walk in the door, but don’t let that turn you off as the staff was friendly and welcoming. We sat on the back patio as it was nice out, and the service was great. My only complaint is that the burger was well done and a bit dry for my liking. I did not specify a temperature when ordering, but look forward to returning and asking for medium which would make this place a 5 star burger spot!
Its a good place.. Not much room... I ordered sweet tea..( not sweet enough) and i got the fried catfish.. It was good... Not alot of tarter sauce.. And the salad, well need salad dressing. Other than that it was ok.. Would i come back? Probably not...
Disappointing visit. Ordered an appetizer, a burger, and a side. Wings came out at the same time as the burger and fries. By the time I got done eating those, the burger was lukewarm. On the other end of the scale, about a quarter of the fries were burned. The waitress apologized multiple times for the delay on the wings, but no offer was made to compensate for the experience. With Tycoon Flats just up the road, there is no reason to come back here.
The food is fine, but 3 of 4 visits have been problematic. Charged for items in carry out order that were not present in bag or smaller sizes than paid for. Second time sat at table for more than 15 minutes and server never bothered to greet or take my order—had to place it at carry out counter to eat inside and was served to me in Varro out bag. Today ordered small onion rings with burger but charged for larger size $2 more. Instead of making adjustment server said “you don’t mind do you” (or something similar) when I pointed to the mistake in the bill. Sorry, but based on service, not food, can’t recommend this place.
Not as great as I remember Armadillos to be. I might check again to make sure. My hamburger patty was really dry. Waitress was nice and attentive but all business. If you're looking for more, dont. And no handicap parking. None. How is that possible? No real way to get a wheelchair in here either, or that I could see. They have the front parking area by the door marked for curbside pickup. Surprised any business could have that many curbside spaces and no handicapped. I want to try them again to give them the benefit of the doubt on the food. I will look for that handicap space so I can.
I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was good! Our server was very knowledgeable and answered our questions without hesitation. I'm definitely going back soon. ?
Yes! Yes! Yes! This was absolutely delicious! I finished a 1/2 lbs old fashioned with cheese and 1/2 of a large fry. This was wonderful
Nice location. But as I have worked in food I dusty for years, I think there food here is too overpriced for frozen products. U should be able to enjoy a nice homemade meal after paying $7 for just a burger. But instead get hard buns overcooked tater tots and meat wasn't even fully cooked. Will never be back. Lower ur prices ARMADILLO u have nothing special in ur menu. All frozen products might as well go to a Fred's fish fry or ur local fast food burger joints
Service was quick and the very friendly staff made our lunch very delicious andmost enjoyable.
Good food, okay prices. Cheese fries were meh but it is super packed right now. Wait staff wore masks which I appreciate. All in all I'd come here again.
