These hot dogs hit the spot, they had a good taste. The service was good. While i was there he gave 2 police officers the meal for free and thanked them for their service. The negatives were he wasnt there 2 outta the 3 times i tried to go. Although i must say he is very responsive to txts, so you can always check to see if he will be there before you head there. In my opinion $8 per hotdog is a little excessive even if its next to the river walk. I was really debating between a 3 or 4 star but i will pay him a visit if i ever go back to San Antonio. ?
First visit here and wow! I’ll get right to it! Alamo Hot Dog Co. surpasses most CHICAGO hot dog stands! I wish I was able to get this person’s name but this person here is definitely good natured. He has something amazing going here and if you’re reading these reviews still not convinced… TRY IT OUT!I had TWO bacon wrapped hot dogs with everything on it except mustard. (Bacon, grilled onion, grilled jalapeño, chili, cheese, mayo, and ketchup) Delicious! Thank you for providing us with a wonderful experience!
This place is just fantastic! Was told to try it when visiting San Antonio, and it was great. Typically parked at the corner of Presa and Crockett (by the Riverwalk entrance next to the Hyatt Regency). The food is great and the service is even better. A great meal after a night of drinks on the Riverwalk. Will definitely return when in San Antonio!

Do yourself a favour… top it off with crisps! These bacon wrapped (Sonoran) yummies are heavenly .. those grilled onions.. excited to return to San Antonio purely for the hot dog.
