environment are so fresh and good all the time and workers are so kindly, charming i have passed through their page i realize that everything is available at alamo cafe,,i really like and i give 5 stars.

1st time visit was well worth the wait, when we came on Sun for dinner around 630pm. We had a 45min wait, but was well worth it. We had Raquel as our waitress she was Amazing. Very helpful, professional, friendly with our table.

Visiting San Antonio and went here for dinner. It's a very cute restaurant with great indoor and outdoor seating. Their mango margaritas are decent. I really enjoyed the shrimp enchiladas and the beans. I'm very picky about rice so it wasn't my favorite.... too much tomato flavor. But the rest of the food was great and the tortillas are addicting. The waitress was amazing and attentive. She was kind enough to bring extra tortillas which we appreciated.

Definitely not worth the wait. The server was absolutely awesome! Very attentive and well versed on the menu. Definitely can't say the same for the food. The cheese enchiladas were not even average for flavor and declined even more so my rating by their cool center. We requested outdoor dining and we're told that it was over an hour wait. We were seated inside next to the outdoor patio. There were more than 10 tables available on the patio. I can only assume that they were not seating persons there due to staff shortages.

This was the first time we've been to Alamo Cafe since August 2021 when we had a "below par" experience. The manager invited us back and we were so glad he did. The Fajitas were as good if not better then most restaurants in San Antonio, the tea tasted fresh brewed, and the tortillas and salsa were just as good (if not better) then we remembered. What added to our experience was our server Joey who was attentive and responded to our requests in seconds (not minutes) when he wasn't a few steps ahead of our requests. The manager stopped by the table to check in just as Joey was receiving a much deserved tip. When we tried to "recruit" Joey to come work for our company, the manager said "He can't, he's part of our physical inventory", grabbed him around the shoulders and quickly ushered him off....LOL! THANK YOU ALAMO CAFE ..... and [email protected] and as you can tell from the foto... we thoroughly enjoyed our food!

Not gonna lie, this place has the best tasting tortillas around!??BUT..The Mexican rice was absolutely horrible hard as rock and no flavor. ??????the black beans had good seasoning but no salt. Lots of people were not eating the rice I noticed.Chips and salsa with queso were good, but not great tasting. The shrimp enchiladas had very little cheese and not good tasting at all.??????Then if you go to the bathroom there it's not very clean and broken mirror. What a shame this could be a much better restaurant.

Great atmosphere. Loads of seating. Good food. Thank you for the friendly service too.

Food is good but it's looking a little worn out inside. Could definitely use some new booths and tables. Other than that we always enjoy our visit

The food here is incredible. I go specifically for the tortillas - they make them fresh right in front of you! Anytime I am in the area, it is my go to!!

The queso and salsa was amazing. When you order the queso, it comes with some of the best tortillas. You can tell the tortillas are made there and not store bought. The street tacos were okay, not the best but certainly not the worst street tacos that I’ve had. Portions were good for the price of the meal.
