Not bad food. Martin, our server was very good. The food was tasty but the potatoes/hash was cold and the gravy on the biscuit was very salty. Overall, not sure it’s a place I would highly recommend with all the other good breakfast places around but a good choice if you’re in the area.

My husband and I were looking for some good biscuits for breakfast when we stumbled upon this restaurant. We were very pleased with our decision to stop by! My husband ordered the fried chicken biscuits and I ordered the breakfast all day. Both were EXTREMELY good! The bacon was cooked just the way I like it, crisp BUT they somehow managed to lock in a delicious flavor. The biscuits were SO SOFT. Can't wait to come back with the kids :)

Well, if you wanna try something different to get away from the usual same old taco and pancake restaurants, then cook at home because this place is not gonna satisfy your urge to live a little. Service is poor, like really poor, so so bad. I know we're still trying to get people to come back to work, and yes it's like that everywhere but this place really doesn't try. We came in a few times before and the place was practically empty so we were told that they were under staffed and it would be like a 30 min wait. We decided to leave both times and try again later. So today was that day, we came in and the place was practically empty. We got seated right away and before the 3 of us were seated we were asked what we wanted to drink. Never been there before, hadn't seen a menu, and didn't know what to say. We just ordered coffee. It was served with 2 creamers on the side of each cup. Not creamers in a bowl or in a cup, not three or one but just two. Then two of the cups had rims covered in lipstick, not a light tint but like it was tasted by a woman with heavy lipstick before being brought to the table. I mean a half blind mole would have seen it, especially in this well lit restaurant but he still brought it to us like that. I told him that we needed clean cups after he asked again what we wanted to order, I told the server we were still downloading the menu and he recommended an appetizer of sweet biscuits. We said go for it and continued to look through the menu. The appetizer came out and was good but by that time our black tea tasting coffee (seriously weak coffee here) was empty. He came, took our order and rushed away. 15 minutes later a different server brought out the food and asked if we needed anything, we asked for more coffee. The coffee came but no creamers and by that time we were plenty disappointed and decided not to even ask for any. The food looked amazingly plated with little toothpick flags that said Alamo Biscuit but honestly the food was just ok. Potato hash was swimming in grease or oil and the biscuits were biscuits. Not mouth watering, nobody's momma was going to get slapped, just your everywhere good buttermilk biscuits. Nothing stood out like you couldn't get anywhere else and nothing made me think we need to come here again. So, all in all. If you're willing to deal with below average post COVID service and want to have some amazing pics of well played food for the gram then this is definitely one of those try it once to say you did restaurants.

highly recommend! shrino on a Biscuit is very tasty and creative dish!

First time trying it took a little long but the food was good I need to come in for a brunch. The smoked sausage is delicious

The food was great. We really enjoyed it. We went on a Tuesday at about 9:15 a.m. There was plenty of seating available. My 2 friends and I shared the Savory Flight (sampler of four biscuit halves with four different gravies), and Biscuit Creation with Fried Chicken (eggs are scrambled), and the Biscuit French Toast (the fruit option is seasonal and was strawberry). The food took a little longer than expected to come out. The only negative thing I have to say about the food is that the French toast is very tough on the outside and hard to cut into. I went up to the pastry counter to ask to pay because we had been waiting for our server to bring the bill for too long. After I paid and got my email receipt, I realized we ended up being charged for a pastry that we ordered but they were out of. There was also a surcharge of $1.49 that showed up on the receipt. Not a big deal, but it was unexpected.

The food was on point. It was fresh, delicious and the service was great. The chicken fried steak eggs Benedict was delicious. It was everything I was expecting and very filling. My wife had their biscuit trio and everything was tasty. It had the old Smoky(brisket biscuit) smoked sausage (texican) and the honey chicken biscuit. Everything was delicious.

My friend and I were so excited after seeing a few photos of the plates on social media. We drive 45 minutes out of our way to try this place.I did feel the prices were a little steep for the plates. I got the “breakfast all day” ($15) added sausage ($3) and bacon($4.5) and my friend got the chicken and biscuits ($11). For the prices I would have expected for our chicken breading to not flake right off and be burnt in some areas. Overall the food was average, and our server - while very nice - only came to our table 5 times and we both would have loved a little more attention especially given that it didn’t seem too busy. The menu has a ton of options so take a look before you decide to go and see if it’s worth it. Aesthetically pleasing though.

The brisket Benedict was delicious! Highly recommend. Server wasn’t great since I had to ask someone to refill our water and she never came back with the answers to our questions, but I would still go back for the menu. So many yummy looking options. My coffee from Archie’s next door was also very good!

I had been looking forward to breakfast at the Alamo Biscuit restaurant for quite some time, but had not made it yet. I decided to pass on a dependable TexMex breakfast to give this place a try. I arrived around 8am on a Saturday and there were only 3 tables occupied, so I was quite anxious to order the “Savory Biscuit flight”. I also ordered the potato hash & an iced tea. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, it took quite awhile for my breakfast to be ready., unfortunately, I was very disappointed with what I received! It was very apparent the biscuits with the 4 different types of gravy were plated long before the potato hash was finished. The hash was very hot, but each of the biscuits were served below room temperature and not at all what I hoped for. The presentation was nice & appealing and the flavor and seasonings were there, However, biscuits & gravy NOT served hot was a bug disappointment. All of that said, I am empathetic to what restaurants are having to deal with, because of their staffing issues, but the restaurant only had 5 tables (2s & 4s) seated when I left. I will have to try again when I feel the staffing issues are resolved!
