First time visiting this place. Didn't think much of it from the front appearance since it is in a strip mall, but walking inside its another world. Food was great and well portioned. Also the michilada I ordered was on point. They have a large patio that's misted. Unfortunately they don't allow dogs. Definitely worth a return visit.
The food was delicious. The hostess and server were friendly and attentive. Did I mention the amazing food??! This will be on the must visit next time we are in the area!!!
Compared to the chain Mexican restaurants in the San Antonio area, this restaurant is great. Decent salsa, great fajitas, soups, and margaritas. Service is always spot on and the one time it wasn’t the waiter was very kind and apologetic. I would recommend ordering a side of creamy cilantro or poblano to go with your meal (especially fajitas) because they are fantastic!
Delicious food, delicious drinks and a super friendly staff.One Wednesday evening our graduating class and family needed to find a location to bring our large group to eat. We walked in with about 90 guests. Ajuúa was able to fully accommodate us and have us fed and wrapped up in less than 2hours. I was so impressed as we know this is not always the case with extra large groups. If you are ever in the area then please give them a try, they are awesome!!
The music was much too loud for mid afternoon. I couldn’t even use my Bluetooth to listen to my chosen audio, because the music was so loud. And what happened to the stemmed margarita glasses?? I love margaritas and the margarita glass is part of the experience. I don’t come here as often as I did in the past because the experience is not what I want, especially in the middle of the day when they are not very busy. Still, the food is good.
They offered more traditional Mexican food. The food was outstanding!! We had the lunch menu and it was under $10.25 per plate. The service was great and the outside seating was great also . I'll definitely be going back .
I was pleasantly surprised with the Sunday Brunch Buffet at Ajuua. The food was really good and the buffet setup was perfect. It was great to see the staff on point consistently bringing out fresh food to keep customers happy. Our beverage server was very attentive and polite. The only grip I had was with the hostess. Her mind was definitely not on her job. She seemed forgetful and clueless. Other than that grip, I had a fun time. I would certainly recommend you try Ajuua.
Came to the Sunday brunch and was really impressed with the Sunday funday, mimosa vibe and the great selection of food. Been here several times before but this is my first time trying Sunday brunch. This place has been great each time. Good food and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place!
