Service was incredibly sparse, we eventually just got up from our table and went to the bar to get drinks. When we got them, the glasses were super dirty. They had a significant amount of residue and lime chunks from the last person. The bartender then argued with us about having closed put our tab until we physically showed her we had paid... we closed the tab with HER. She was definitely high or drunk and not all there. Then we called another waitress over (who was SO NICE!) And showed her the drinks. She knew exactly who had made them and refunded our money and gave us each a free shot. Overall it was not a good experience, but at least the waitress tried to make it right. The music was super loud and pretty sub par as well though.
Service is 10/10, drinks are 10/10 but the food was ok. Beans weren’t spicy or mild. Rice was dry and bland. Corn tortillas were dry and broke fast. Chicken in the tortilla was 8/10. Tables were dirty, chairs were dirty. But I’d come back to have a drink or 2 with the view. Thank you!
What an awesome crew!Bartenders Edward and April were absolutely amazing! They were able to keep up with the high pace and high demand of the customers and STILL make you feel like they were only serving you.Not only were the drinks amazing, they were Cheap AND STRONG!
We stumbled upon this little gem when we were baking in the heat on the River walk. So nice to hit that A/C. April gave us great service!! Never had to flag her down. Service with a great attitude.
Acapulco Sam's is located on the riverside and has great frozen Margarita selections. And they are STRONG! They have live DJ and karaoke in the evenings. The service is great and I especially loved the service by JP and Tori. They were so friendly and made me feel like home! Tori makes excellent drinks so especially go to her for your craft drinks.Fun spot in the river walk, I highly recommend for their frozen drinks!

Good specials for drinks. The frozen drinks today were $5. The menu is small. The Mexican corn dip was okay, but needs lime added to it.
Wonderful bar on the Riverwalk. Next to live music and busy area. JP was my bartender and he was awesome. He really made the time there wonderful. The bar is on the 3rd floor and overlooks the river. You can take the drinks out and walk the river. Before 9pm, the 12 oz frozen drinks are $5. After 9pm or on special occasions, the drinks are $10.
Food was misinterpreted and cold. Service was friendly but would not go back. $8 for a beer is too much.
We sat at the bar and April was our bartender. She was amazing and we had a fantastic time because of her. The drinks were delicious and the food was amazing - but she definitely made the experience awesome and contributed to the atmosphere and the experience that we had. You get your money's worth with everything, and the employees are delightful. A great way to set the vibe for the night!
