Amazing food, and service! Music was perfect to complete the ambience!
We had an amazing night celebrating a friends birthday. The food was so good. We started with the charcuterie and lobster cargot. The charcuterie was beautiful and delicious. The only thing we kinda missed was olives. The cargot was rich and creamy and so damn good! The service was prompt and friendly. Tony was great! We could tell they were busy with a couple large parties seated next to us but we never felt neglected. Our entree selections included ribeye, filet mignon, baked potato, creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. All perfectly prepared to our specifications and absolutely delicious. The chef came by to make sure our steaks were to our liking and even posed for a picture. That’s always elevates the dining experience. The band Coffeehouse Heroes, played a great selection of favorites that everyone enjoyed and they stopped by to say hi on their way out. We finished our meal with the crème brûlée which was light and decadent. Thank you all for making this evening a huge success. We will be back and we will send our friends!

Good food.-steaks cooked to perfection. Like warm baked potatoes. Short staffed and larger tables affected service. Still we would recommend this restaurant and we will go back.
Great steaks. Server James was good but was tending to too many tables. Staff shortage not his fault
Atmosphere was wonderful! I sat at the bar and Josh provided EXCELLENT customer service and although he was busy he made sure to check on me every chance he had. You can't find customer service like that anymore. Plus, the creme brulee was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Would definitely recommend this hidden gem!
The wait staff was attentive and helpful, and the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed our appetizer of Brussels Sprouts. Now that we know where this restaurant is, and how convenient it is to our home, we will frequent it at least once or twice a month .
Excellent service. Steak was perfectly cooked.
I am writing this review in hopes that this place will get better. We were there last night celebrating my daughter’s graduation. The experience started off great with our server taking our drink and appetizer orders. We put in our dinner orders and it went downhill after that. The food came out in sections. First, the pasta dishes, then the steaks and then my brother’s lobster. Our server “auctioned” off our food saying, “Who’s got the Tuscan pasta?” or “Who’s got the medium rare ribeye?” For a $100 per person average restaurant, this is a no-no. They completely forgot my son’s salmon dish and our server disappeared. My mom asked for Tabasco but she didn’t get it for 15 minutes. Rather than acknowledging that they forgot my son’s dish and comping it, he ate when everyone else was finished with their meals. I’m also glad we looked at our bill because they didn’t tell us that gratuity was already included. I would have ended up giving him another $200 on our nearly $1,000 bill. Our celebration was marred by this experience. Now, all my family remembers is the service and sub-par food.If you want to be in the same class as Myron’s or Perry’s or J Alexander’s, you’ve got to up your game. Otherwise, lower your prices and be more like Texas Roadhouse.
We were here to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation, and the team at 1718 did not disappoint! We started things off with a few cocktails and the charcuterie board, which had some incredibly well done crustinis and a soft cheese that will have me ordering it again. Next most had the wedge salad which has an amazing homemade dressing and a perfectly prepared applewood bacon. My son ventured out and had the 1718 salad, and I think I caught him licking the plate. For our main, the lady of the day and her mother had the filet, which were almost two inches thick and cooked to perfection. My mother had the salmon over risotto and is still talking about it two days later. The balance of us had a ribeye or a NY strip, and I have to say that it far exceeded what I can do at home, and I am a fairly accomplished home chef. My ribeye was very well prepared and presented a rich, buttery flavor and a tender texture. The sides were a rich brown color and the top and bottom were charred darkly, but not black. The steak was an inch or more thick, and had some play to the middle but was still firm to the touch. To accompany our main we ordered a complement of sides: mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, and a few baked potatoes for the heathens in the group. The mashed potatoes were on point. The spinach was a kiss as it was much more cream with spinach as a garnish. I make a fantastic roasted Brussels sprout, and so did the chef, but his use of sugar was off putting. The asparagus was thin and light with a delicate crunch. The decor was quite nice and the atmosphere quite nice. Our waiter handled us generally without assistance and did a great job. A phenomenal restaurant to cap a wonderful day. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
