Service was excellent and the food was good. The jalapeño soup is to die for and a must have every time you visit the wharf. The seared scallops were cooked perfectly and very delicious. The reason for the 4-star rating vice a 5-star rating was that our ribeye steaks were ordered medium-rare and they both came out medium-well. Will definitely give The Wharf another try, but just not get the steaks.

Oh my goodness we had the best catfish, oysters, fried oysters and rib eye and with a nice bottle of Pino NoirEverything was so fresh and deliciously prepared and we enjoyed every morsel. We'll definitely be back when we're in town on our next visit to San Angelo Texas. Very satisfied customers.

We moved back to San Angelo and it was my wife's birthday. She loved this place 25 years ago. The decor hasn't changed and looked like it might not have been dusted since then either. My wife enjoyed her wine while I tried to get a second swallow out of my drink, which was made with 4 parts ice, and 1 part liquid. Thankfully my wife loved her Mahi Mahi and the asparagus. My coconut shrimp good as it should be for the price but the rice pilaf stuck together like paste and detracted from my meal. We had dessert and ended our evening. I doubt we will go back.

This is one of San Angelo's hidden treasures, the food is delicious..and the staff is beyond par! Wonderful experience every time

The Wharf makes some excellent food. I would definitely recommend their Cajun bites or steak. Their seafood is also really good but due to being in West Texas, it can only be so good. I wouldn’t come here looking for the best seafood you’ve eaten, just maybe the best seafood in town. They tend to be expensive however my wife and I feel it is worth it. The food has always been good and the service excellent. The atmosphere also makes it a fun place.

Arrived around 7PM so we waited. Hostess gave us a skinny tight booth as I stand 6 feet and 3 inches tall, plus 300 pounds. Ask her if she noticed. Waited more for a table. Sat and waited 20 minutes to get a waitress for water. Asked no onions on my food. Guess what? Lol I was served onions on my food and one fish less from what I asked for. Second catfish was 8 dollars. Waitress said she will like a 30% tip lol.

The Wharf is one of our favorite restaurants in town. It always has good service and great food. My favorite is the shrimp scampi with broccoli. The steak bites appetizer is super yummy as well. Save some room for dessert because their ice cream pies are HUGE and soooo good.

Very good. Waitress was very good. It's a little dark and hard to read the menu. But very good.

Service could have been better, and food served faster, but employees were nice and we had a good time ??. Salmon and asparagus were dalish!

My wife and I chose the Wharf in San Angelo to enjoy a nice dinner. However, upon entering we were met by an older lady who glared at us, ignored us and continued to speak to another employee and made us feel as if we were bothering her at the hostess table. Finally, she addressed our presence and told us we could sit ourselves in the bar section. Our dining experience was much less than we expected even though the food was okay. However, with the thoughts of how we were treated left us wondering as to what possible motive the older white lady had to treat Hispanic diners the way she did made me sick to my stomach. We didn’t order past the appetizer, paid for our food, tipped our server well for his excellent service and left. My post is to share my experience today and that in my opinion, racism is still alive and well at this establishment.
