Very good food! Definitely Texmex and not authentic Mexican but it still was very satisfying. My husband enjoyed the tostadas. I had the tia Maria plate which i’d rate an 8.5, the flavor was on point but I would have enjoyed more veggies. The salsa is way spicier than most other Mexican restaurants which was amazing because we love spicy!! The restaurant was very clean and the service was great. Will definitely be returning

My favorite Mexican restaurant in San Angelo! Definitely try their famous white sauce when you are here! The chicken strips are yummy and you cannot go wrong with their classic Mexican dishes.PS: Ignore the 1 star review bombers, there was a disgruntled ex employee that just quit and they are starting a hate campaign.

This is probably the worst “Mexican” place in San Angelo. The staff were so chaotic there was obviously no communication. From the minute we walked in the door we were ushered to the bar (we had underage members in our group) and told there would be a 15 minute wait. We waited for about 10 mins and were sat by a table near the door and immediately ushered to a table closer to the bar. The waiter was trying his hardest but he was obviously so overwhelmed since the restaurant was packed beyond capacity. I got a margarita and it was underwhelming and disappointing. We only waited about 20 mins for our food but we were met with dry meat, soggy tortillas, cold beans & rice and stale chips. The queso was atrocious and tasted like heart burn. So so disappointed in this place. Will not be back and will make sure that everyone I meet does NOT go to this place.

The staff is pleasant. Waits aren't bad. I just hate their pricing practices. I ordered the 2 beef quesadillas and said no beans and rice. So they took it upon themselves to do a la carte and charge me $3 more for veggies. ?? Better keep up with that white sauce and salsa; that's the only dish that keeps me coming back.OH AND...the shrimp cocktail is not Mexican Shrimp Cocktail. It is horse radish sauce with Pico and lined shrimp on a fancy cup.

This place is SO BIG! But thankfully they have the staff to cover it. We look forward to it every time we’re in San Angelo. The chili rellenos were some of the best we’ve ever had! And the service is quick, friendly & efficient.

By all accounts, Henry’s is considered a local mom and pop shop. It’s not a national chain. It’s just here in good ol’ San Angelo. However, you’d be hard pressed to find another restaurant in town on the scale as this one. Henry’s is extremely popular and by far, one of the biggest restaurants in SanAngelo. It’s so popular, you might have to park in the parking lot across the street or a couple buildings down.Once inside, you’ll realize just how busy the place is, but not to worry, the wait line usually moves very quickly. Henry’s is worth the 10 minutes that you might have to wait.Once seated, you’ll be greated with some of the best staff in all of San Angelo. I’ve never had a bad experience with any of their staff. They are all very friendly and extremely professional.Henry’s has one of the fastest turn around times from the moment you place your order until your food is put on the table. You might wait 10 minutes for your food. They are extreamly fast. Fast usually means that there’s a compromise to your food, but not at Henry’s. Their food is some of the best food in town. Excellence is their passion and they have mastered it.I’ve eaten there hundreds of times over the past 20+ years and they have always been one of the best restaurants ever. You won’t be disappointed. Even if you do a take out order, the quality is the same. Simply outstanding. One final note. Whether or not you eat in the restaurant or not, get some “white sauce”. You pay a little bit extra for it, but it’s so worth it, especially with chips instead of the usual salsa. If you like Mexican food, Henry’s is the place to go. Without question.

Henry's parking lot is always full. The food is typical Tex-Mex. But what makes it special is the atmosphere, the friendly staff, the efficiency of the place, and the prices are neither cheap or expensive, and the whole town eats here. I first ate here when visiting relatives prior to moving here, and we always ran into someone who knew someone. Now I live here, and it is the same for us. Henry's is part of the fabric of San Angelo, and that makes eating here more than a meal out.

This visit was great. I had beef fajita quesadillas my wife had beef chimichanga and both were perfect. We have come to expect excellent service and meals at Henry's and they never fail. Looking forward to our next visit.

Came back after several years and the food was still as good as I expected. Service was great and food came out quick. Restaurant seems to always be full but was seated quickly. Will definitely return when in town.
