With just the best home made bread you can taste in town, the ambiance is just far out, the steaks are mouth watering, I had the chicken strips with home made ranch sauce. The drinks, these guys hit it out if the ballpark...you gotta check'em out !!....most if the times there is a long lines that can go outside of the restaurant. Be advise !!
My food was dropped coming out of the kitchen. Then the salmon had a thin needle looking bone in it as I found it in my mouth and shown it to the manager standing there. All they said was sorry lol. Very disappointed overall.
Service was poor, food was horrible! Three people at our table had chicken fried steak and there was so much gristle in them, we couldn't even eat them! We complained, the manager came over and offered another meal. When we said we didn't have time to wait on another meal, the manager said (and I quote), " what do you want me to do??" Seriously. She actually said that. Not going back.
We go every Friday at lunch. Today on Friday February 25th was horrible. Waitress was slow and after 45 minutes my medium rare steak was well done. The other steak that was supposed to be medium was well done. I told them to just keep mine because my lunch hour was over..otherwise guy ate his steak..everyone else got a to go plate. Manager didn't charge mine but made the other guy pay for his steak because he ate it...like he had a choice! They should have comped the whole meal..
Very annoyed and frustrated at Texas Roadhouse. Called ahead early in the day to place a reservation for our party of 20 at 7pm. Was told that would be fine and they would have seating together for us. Our entire party arrived at 645pm and was told they would have to split our party due to nothing available. When we said that was not okay, they said we could wait a few minutes for another table to be seated together. Over 70 minutes we have been waiting and still have no table. Every time we go in to check on the status they tell us "just a few more minutes". Very unprofessional and we will not be coming back. This shouldn't have happened if they were okay with us setting the reservation earlier.
Our party had steak and shrimp, chicken fried steak, and pulled pork. Steak was cooked perfectly as ordered. All dishes were delicious. CJ was a great waitress.
Unfortunately we had a bad experience with a newbie waiter. Ribs were awesome, ribeye was good but a little tough. Service was horrid and rushed. Drinks came after appetizer (had to ask 3 times for water) and had barely started app when salads and entrée arrived.
This dinning experience was only so so. Clearly they are hiring a lot of new staff...walk ways were over crowded with staff. Our seating was quick and pleasant, server was just OK. I asked for my burger to not be served with any fries, yet it showed up with fries. Someone didn't either enter the order correctly, read it correctly in the kitchen or remember my order preference before she delivered it to the table. When asking my 82yo Mom if she wanted her water refilled, having interrupted our conversation, she said, "Would you like more water Babe?" My Mom, "Babe"? I did not appreciate her being so familiar and forward with the senior person at the table. It may not matter to this young waitress, but it did offend me.The food we ordered - a Burger & Grilled Salmon were fine.SERVICE makes the first impression with me and certainly leaves the last. Younger servers in San Angelo would benefit great from much more in depth training in this area.
Excellent food!! Always busy and that says something about the food and service. That being said, the service is excellent given the chaos that is with having so many customers. The steaks are outstanding!! We look forward to visiting again soon!!
The good food, the friendly atmosphere, the courteous staff, the excellent service
