Best BBQ in San Angelo. Great Customer Service as well. I love their Chicken and Brisket. My wife likes their Burgers. Prices Are Very Affordable and Great BBQ Quality. They also do Catering which is very Nice.
Used RJ’s for our 50th high school reunion. Alfredo worked with me answering all my many questions. Gave us a good price and delivered the food exactly when he said he would. The sausage, brisket and beans were delicious!! We had about 23 people and everyone raved about the food. Even had a couple of men there saying RH’s brisket were better than theirs. If you want excellent service and food. Use RJ’s!!
By Far the best BBQ I’ve ever had! The ribs were FINGER LICKIN GOOD. Besides my mommas beans they have best beans I’ve ever had! Potato salad was divine. The banana pudding was soooooo yummy!!! It was my first time trying RJ’s and because of Eloy and Roman giving me the best 5 star experience I will absolutely be back next trip to San Angelo!
It's over price, Banana pudding is pretty good but the bbq is over priced. It is not as good as they are selling. But San Angelo is small so no real competition in the bbq field. -Update- I left this part out. The staff there is great pretty cool laid back
Their BBQ is consistently great! We look forward to ours trips through San Angelo just to stop and get some fabulous BBQ and all the fixings! Their banana pudding is the best we’ve ever eaten. And if the food isn’t enough for you, their customer service is second to none! If you haven’t stopped at RJ’s do t wait! They will soon have 3 locations to choose from!
We stopped in today to try RJ's BBQ and it was delicious! The brisket was hot, tender and full of flavor! The sausage was lean but not dry! We loved our BBQ and plan to return frequently! You must try this BBQ!
Brisket was tender but lacked any standalone flavor. The smoke was very much heavy but could taste the white creosote smoke. Ribs should have been cooked longer and the beans were crunchy. Need to be cooked longer or do not add salt while they are cooking. Potato salad tasted like what you get from store. Even the bread was a bit dry. Now this was my first visit and I always give a place 2x. (To the owner) don't be afraid to add more pop into your rub and apply heavily..all meats should stand on their own with no sauce.
The ribs had a delicious caramelized finish it was so good i had to eat it without sauce. Best potatoes salad i ever had. And they are not greedy. The bbq sauce was good. It was worth the money. The tea wasn’t that great but i would definitely buy more bbq next time im passing thru.
Tried every meat but the chicken. It was all fantastic. Turkey is often dry, but not at this place. Sides also very tasty. Very very good food. Nice people running the place. Would recommend to anyone.
Laid back barbecue place as it should be, standard price seems like. I got the sausage plate and enjoyed it but it could have been hotter though. Beans were hot though. And the potato salad was pretty tasty, hoping it was made in house. Overall pretty good. Staff was friendly, place was clean.
