The drive thru was packed so I went inside to order. They were out of red beans and rice, that they were preparing some, but when I asked how l9ng it would be, they said a minimum of 1 hr. Turns out they were out of a lot of the Sides, the only options were mashed potatoes and gravy, fries or Mac n cheese. So I settled on the mash potatoes and Mac and cheese.. the Mac n cheese was a congealed blob of what was probably scraped off the bottom of the tray. The mashed potatoes were very watered-down, the gravy was the only thing that was made right.. I had asked for the 8 piece meal, mild and dark meat only, I get home and find that the chicken was all white meat and while the crust was nice and crunchy it was way to salty, so had to take the skin off to be able to eat the white meat chicken I didn't order and I don't particularly care for. And the extra biscuits I ordered and the beigets were not in the bag either both were items that I was charged for. I did laugh that the cars I would have been behind in the drive thru were in the same exact spot, but then was disappointed with the quality of the food. I hope it was a one time thing and not a sign of a downgraded trend in their quality and service.
Majority of the time I do not like coming here at night. Night time is not the time to come here. You might be stuck in the drive thru for an hour!!!Tried to order before going to Popeyes the woman stated she didn't take orders over the phone. Got there, lobby was closed so I had no choice but to go through the drive thru. The lady that took my order needs training on customer service ?Do better!!
This Popeyes is Run very poorly. I totally understand being understaffed, but when you don't even acknowledge waiting customer s and the manager just in his own world. We waited 30 mins before anyone asked for our oder even though we got looked at several times. Terrible experience even and on the basics of customer service. People in the drive thru coming in asking if they were still open or if everything was OK sitting for 30 minutes in the drivthru. Just Terrible.
Pretty good chicken. Staff is friendly and food is hot for the most part. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich is good but sometimes a bit too much of the sauce. My kids love the chicken strips and honestly they are some of the best fast food chicken strips. Restaurant is clean.
Waited in drive thru for 10 min, no movement at all, so went inside, horrible customer service! No one in line was acknowledged. Waited for a long time. Numerous customers walked out. Guy behind me asked if someone was going to help us and they said very rudely that they had a large order. There were plenty of employees working. Was there on lunch break, ended up walking out with nothing!
I placed a mobile order before leaving the office, which takes about 10+ minutes to get the restaurant. I waited for a while at the pickup area, but was ignored. I finally got someone’s attention and ask about my mobile order. When I asked for order #46, the employee said, “If you would’ve just gotten in line and told her your name, it would’ve been a lot faster.” I said, “I’m just following directions and trying to pick up where the app says to pick up.” She said, “Well, if you would just get in line and tell her your name… then we know you’re actually here and not just waiting for an order.” This is during the time when Central is out for lunch, and there were no less than 8 people in line. The whole point of online ordering is to be able to run in, grab it, and go. If I have to wait in line to tell them my name, why order ahead? That’s absolutely ridiculous! I have just really grown weary of the attitude at this location. It’s the same person EVERY SINGLE TIME.
It’s hard because I love Popeyes. I don’t like watching employees smoke and lure street cats in their uniform with the apron on. And then just go back inside… people are human but come on.. hygiene
This is my favorite place to go when I'm looking to kill 30-40 minutes in my car. If there's a line in the drive thru, expect a VERY long wait. The food at the end of it is great though, never had any issues with getting my correct order.
A couple months ago I went and the food was horrible! Long wait, no one was getting their correct order, workers didn't care and the restaurant was nasty!! Fast forward today, restaurant was very clean and all workers seemed happy and all were working. Food was very fresh and really good! Whatever changes that have been made were the right changes!
I witnessed the order in front of me got shorted 2 items as the customer came from the dining area to get them...then when I got to my truck, my order was shorted 2 items amd had to go back in to get them. Food was great...employees screwing up orders is not. Especially 2 in a row.
