Love the staff. Friendly and sweet. Loved our server sara.. she made us laugh smile and at home.. highly recommend her..
On our way back to San Antonio we stopped for a quick bite and it was the best decision to stop here. From our amazing and super friendly server Rosa to the food the experience was very welcoming. I ordered the beef fajitas (for one) and my husband got the all you can eat catfish. Both of our meals were delicious and fresh! Wish we were locals to try everything they have to offer! Not to worry it will be a regular stop anytime we are passing through. ? Thank you for serving us! ?

I love Pepe's Diner. We go there all the time for family night. We have never had a complaint about how big my family is...and there is alot of us. I have 6 kids and then their better halves...yep, that's alot, and then the grandbabies...Pepe's always welcomes us and makes room for us. The staff, there so good with the family, friendly, always smiling and talking to us but keeps to what we need. The food is so good. Love Love Love the Catfish!!!
Nope...hadn't been in a while but hubbs wanted to...he likes their fried mushrooms...still terrible...called 10 min before we got there to make sure they had fried mushrooms available...ordered fried mushrooms and onion rings to start, 15min pass they bring out onion rings and say they're outa mushrooms...why weren't we told that when we ordered...waitress was great, owner is rudely shouting about us cancelling our order...then says we should have specified on the phone for them to go look and make sure they had them...like wth? Just terrible won't be back

We lucked into having dinner at Pepe's diner as we drove through San Angelo. This is a great family owned place that's been around for 25 years. It's not fancy but it's pretty good.Generally speaking the food was good but it could be better. The queso was very bland but once we put some of the salsa in it we liked it. The chicken fried steak was also very bland. Maybe add some pepper to the gravy?The beef tips were excellent! Big portion and great flavor.
