Food was okay, disappointed I had to pay $12 for the little side dishes that comes with fajitas. Won’t be going back or recommending to others.
The Vette-Jet is ready to go and so are we - and our Dog is happy because when we leave she gets a treat - she wants us to leave often. We are going out to Nacho's Mexican Restaurant for Dinner. We arrived when we did and got there when we arrived. Walked in, were greeted and informed that we could sit anywhere we want - we chose a Booth. Corina is our Server and also the Wife of the Owner, Simon. Corina told us about their drinks, including Margaritas, which we ordered. Large, Frozen and Tasty. While our Margaritas are being made we looked over the Menu and there is a lot to look over. One of the Staff brought over their Warm Chips and House Made Sauce for us to enjoy - and these are Delicious. Thick Red Sauce that's not Hot but Very Tastylicious and Warm Big Chips are always a plus. Our Margaritas have arrived and they look Delicious. We toasted and enjoyed these Thickly-Frozen Tastylicious Margaritas - and they have lots of Lime-ee-ness in there - and you can taste the Tequila - this is Goooood. Now, back to the Menu and trying to decide what to order. When Corina returned we placed our order. My Wife is having the 'Chicken Portuguesa'; Grilled Chicken Breast, topped with Mushrooms, mild Ranchero Sauce, Monterey Jack Cheese. Served with House Made Refried Beans & Rice. I am going with their 'Tour of Mexico'; Cheese Enchilada, Crispy Ground Beef Taco (loaded), Bell Pepper stuffed with Ground Beef & Cheese, Tamale & Guacamole. Served with House Made Refried Beans & Rice. This was a tuff choice because everything on the Menu does look and sound Delicious. They also have Eight Types of Nachos to choose from and my Wife Loves Nachos, as do I, but that's gonna have to wait until next time - and from the taste of these Margaritas alone there is gonna be a lot of next times. While we waited for our food we actually finished off those Big Warm Chips and Corina brought out more and she explained a lot about Nachos History and the Family - they pretty much all work here. Soon our food arrived and the Presentation of both our Dishes are absolutely Beautiful - mine is a Masterpiece all it's own. Listen-Up-Restaurants - a Beautiful Presentation of Food is a Sure Thing in Coming Back for More - it shows the Customer that you really care about what you serve. And 'Nachos' really cares because not only is this a Beautiful Presentation it's also one of the Best Tasting Dishes I have had at Any Mexican Restaurant. This is some Good Stuff - 'Everything' on this plate is Absolutely Deliciousness at it's Finest - and these Plates are served HOT. My Wife Loved her 'Chicken Portuguesa', she said it was Very Tasty, Tender and Gooeyliciiousness with all that Cheese. She also said that the Refried Beans were the Best Ever and I totally agree. My Stuffed Bell Pepper was Freshness with a Crispy-Crunch and the Perfect Mixture of Beef and Cheese inside - Very Tasty. The Beefy Taco was Packed-To-The-Top and was Crunchy with every Bite and not falling apart - it stayed together so you could enjoy all the Goodies inside. I ate everything on my plate and my Wife ate most of hers and took the rest home. The food we had at Nachos was the Best and I'm sure everything else on their Menu is Deliciousness. The Margaritas alone makes you want to come back and then you try the Food and you know you will be back - and the Service is Impeccable - and the Presentation of Food looks like an Artist Painting of the way Food is suppose to be served. Everything about Nachos is Beautiful. Corina earned the 'Dollar-Bow-Tie' Award and loved it. Went for the first time and got the order to go. Staff were really nice but we ended up throwing the $40 order in the trash after a few bites.
The best Mexican restaurant in Angelo and the staff are so excellent at their job! Also the Owners are sooo friendly and really do make you feel like part family.
Great food, good service, kind of chilly inside
We came to Texas from Alabama to visit my husbands sister who is very sick. We found Nacho's looking for a restaurant near our hotel. We couldn't have picked a better place to eat. Great food, great drinks and most importantly a great staff. We didn't get there until after 10pm and they were through cooking but the owner fixed us 2 big plates of nachos. Talked with us like he already knew us. We went back the next night and he remembered us and asked how his sister was doing. That says alot about a person. If we ever get back to San Angelo we will definitely be back. ?
Fast and great food very friendly staff
First time eating here and service was amazing, food was absolutely delicious. I want to add that we ordered drinks from the bar and they were just as delicious! Owner came out and greeted us which has never happened before, cant wait to come back.
