My mom and i took a chance on this. No good. Service was poor. The food though served in large portions was very poorly seasoned. The chips were standard but salsa was extremly bland. I ordered the chili reonose (sppelling) green peppers ok but they served the whole top with 3 inches of stem attached and the bottom of the pepper with a knob of inside ribs inside the food. Gross! My mother ordered the green enchaladas the sause was then, on the outside only and seemed to be mostly tomateaos. Not much flavor. Would NOT recommend.Th

I have been eating Mexican food in this town ALL of my life. Even in the same building as this place. I can still remember when the waterfall on the wall was functional, but NEVER have I tasted a better chili relleno than I did when I went there last night. I told my waitress and I hope she let the cook know. If she didn't, I want to let it be known that was something to come back for. If you have never tried it, you should ONLY try it there.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Overcharged for breakfast but only provided an adding machine tape when I asked for an itemized receipt. Pancakes had no flavor and were barely done. Bacon was burnt. Service was non-existent. Very unhappy with experience. Will never be back. I wouldn't want my dog to eat there.
I've eaten a dish restaurant numerous times in the past and this time was no different. This restaurant is always clean, the staff is always courteous and always checking to make sure that I have everything that I need. This particular time I took a friend out there for her birthday. This was the restaurant she wanted to go to. I was absolutely thrilled when I walked in to see the sign say that they were serving Caldo. This just happens to be my favorite. We were seated immediately brought chips and salsa asked if we wanted the white sauce I asked for a large queso and and then I asked if they were still serving the caldo and was told yes they were. I asked for beef caldo with flour tortillas and an extra side of rice. My friend's place their orders. It didn't take long for our orders to show up and I was pleasantly thrilled to find that my caldo was exactly everything I expected it to be and more. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals we even had to take home some in to-go boxes. When I checked out and paid my bill I noticed a little stand set up by the register with Mexican candy on it. I love the coconut candy and ask the price of one of the candies but it was a little more than what I had with me in cash so I put it back. The young lady who cashed me out told me to go ahead and get the bar candy that she was buying it for me. That touched me very deeply and humbled me. You don't find many places where the staff are that kind and that courteous. It's because of that kind of treatment by the staff that I continue to go back to this particular restaurant and recommend it if someone from out of town asks where they can get good Mexican food. We stopped here because Henry's was closed for New Year's day. I think I found my new favorite stop, when passing through San Angelo! The food and service were both perfect.

Food is hit or miss, have had the Mexican Lunch before. It was great, this last time the Enchiladas we're a little cold on the inside. It may depend on who is working the kitchen on a particular day. Chips and white sauce are great. Will continue to come. I'll try a different plate next time....
This place had some real good Mexican food. I've been here several times and have not been disappointed yet. Service is great too. They make you feel at home.
