I used doordash last night to pick up my meal. Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers was excellent. This is my first time and I was well pleased.Though I don't know what a custard is. Maybe next time I will buy one and find out. It is nice that they offer alternative side dishes besides french fries. The little cheese balls were excellent. Freddy's is a great place to go for great burger or other foods they offer.
I LOVE Freddy's!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ The fries are delicious, the sandwiches are big and filling, and the people are so nice! I have never gotten my order wrong. The only thing I would change is to have another location in Abilene, so I can go more often! ?

Just did not like the food. It was bland.all you could taste with the French fries was the salt.. no French fry taste.
I just adore the food there. Hamburgers are wonderful. My only complaint is. I go at least twice a week for the Hawaiian Concert. Well to my shock and dismay they are taking them off the menu. FOR EVER???? No please say it ain't so.
Food is generally pretty decent, but this last time we ordered burgers and fries. They didn’t have a few items such as bacon or fries, so offered a substitute of onion rings or cheese curds, but upcharged us for them instead of giving them as a true substitute for products they didn’t have. It would be nice to make aware that you will be upcharged upfront.
The first thing I noticed when I arrived were the prices. $10 for a burger combo? Other places charge 5. Then I got my food. Everything was absolutely perfect. So I went back the next night. Highly recommend. Also had amazing service both times. Management is doing something right.
When Freddy's first opened in San Angelo, I had several bad experiences in a row, so I wrote this place off. I even left a two star review. In recent years I've noticed they've consistently had a steady stream of business, so I decided to give them another shot. Now I'm hooked.While I typically prefer a thick meat patty on my burgers, Freddy's take on burgers has won me over - it's all about the crunch. Without being burned, they manage to have two thin but juicy patties, with a little bit of crispy ends on their meat. Usually, this is a bad thing in my book, but the attention to detail and overall consistency of everything creates a perfect little package. The fries are tiny and shoestring-style, but you never really get a fry that's too soggy, too crispy or crunchy, or imperfect in some other way. I don't usually care for fry sauce either but that's a welcome addition here, too. Freddy's has somehow managed to package it all together and stand out from the rest of the fast food crowd. Lettuce and tomatoes don't come on their featured burger by default, but when you add them, they're treated with the same amount of care as the rest of the package: -consistently fresh, crisp, green lettuce, and perfectly ripe, red tomatoes.To top off the experience, the employees really seem to care. They're always friendly and helpful, and genuinely seem to enjoy their job.We might have gotten off to a rocky start, but I'm definitely a fan now. If you ever had a bad experience here and didn't come back, give them another try. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Food was so good ,, i didn't even think to take a pic.... great customer service as well .
The food was OK, but we paid with a new gift card given to us. The lady who took the payments and there was only 2 dollars and some change instead of 25. She tried to keep the gift card after I ended up paying for the food with my credit card. I asked for the gift card back and she came clean there was still twenty some what dollars and some change left on the card. She tried to scam us and steal the card. If the food tasted bad then I would have not have given any stars.
