It was good but it wasn't great for me. I ordered the tacos asada and to me they were very greasy and I felt like I could taste more the grease than the taste of the meat and tortilla. The cheese was warm but in a way that meant it might been seating outside the fridge for a while and the beans were too salty. However, the agua the Horchata was delicious, the servers were very nice, and the menu came with pictures for most of their dishes which I thought was great. I always love when menus have pictures of the food they serve. My sister enjoyed her food and said it was pretty good so it probably just depends on each person and how they like their food. I think its worth a try but it just wasn't for me.
My family (4) have been twice now. Both times the food was excellent. It is a small restaurant but the service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend trying this restaurant.
Just left this location and my family LOVED the food here. It’s very authentic Mexican style, the fajitas were very tasty as was the guacamole and salsa choices. I had the sopa 7 mares and it was okay, wish they had a sopa de marisco on the menu because this girl loves her flavor and spice. Nonetheless, was not bad altogether. My husband, toddler and I ate for $44 dollars. Great prices!
I’m honestly sad to post this review- my Son & I were so excited to try this place, but… Now having visited, I can’t help but wonder WHY this restaurant is highly rated? (currently 4.3 stars)This is our experience/opinion from our visit today, 3/17/22. The chips tasted store bought & rather stale, the watery “salsa” seemed to just be tomato sauce with a handful of cilantro & diced onion; not a great start. Then came our dinner, *sigh*… We both ordered the Queso Dip Enchilada Plate, which came with 3 Enchiladas covered in White Queso, Rice & Beans. I chose the Shredded Chicken version & my Son had the Cheese. Here we go: The corn tortillas seemed to be straight out of a bag, cold, then filled & coated with semi-warm queso, served with extremely bland/undercooked rice & very dry (maybe even canned by the flavor) refried beans. Most (especially Mexican Restaurants) serve their meals on ceramic plates which allow staff to pop them in an oven to toast & melt, but not here, they chose plastic- so because of this, your meal automatically arrives cold after being placed on their choice in plates.I really wanted to enjoy supporting another local establishment, as we do, but unless this was just a fluke of a particularly bad experience, I just can’t see us returning ?
My husband and I ate here about a month ago and honestly the food was great. We ordered the cheese fries, Carne Asada Plate(1), Flautas De Pollo Plate (13) and a Carne Asada Taco. Everything had an amazing flavor and was fresh. The staff members are very friendly and polite. It's a nice and clean environment. I'd definitely recommend this place.
OMG! BEST Mexican food in San Angelo, HANDS DOWN!!!! ❤️❤️ Been ordering from this place since the first time I tried it, and I just wish I would've known about it sooner! ?
My wife and I have been coming here since they've opened. The staff is very friendly. Food is really good. Their menudo is my go to early morning.
Good- Service was great, 7up to drinkBad- chips and hot sauce worst I ever had, rice was not good, all food was sub par. Don't care to go back but I'm only 1 opinion, try for yourself. Not being mean just truthful.
Fajita burrito, horrible. Tostada, horrible. Very fast delivery from San Angelo to go. Food cold and tastes bad. Sour cream completely liquid. Salsa tomato water. Would not recommend.
Great food and friendly staff. But my friend and I are now sick after eating there for the first time. Not sure if it’s food poisoning or what. Won’t be going back.
