Coming from the bordering towns and being super picky about Mexican food, I absolutely loooove this place. Anytime I come to San Angelo, this has to be a must stop. I have tried other highly sought after Mexican restaurants in town and nothing is as delicious and authentic as Arementa's. The staff is so warm and inviting and service is super quick. Definitely a favorite

From the salsa to the enchiladas-Everything was amazing. Big portions and lovely servers. Can’t go wrong with that.
??♂️??♂️ We stopped by on a cold rainy day at 11:25 to eat breakfast. There is no breakfast after 11:00 am like most Mexican restaurant’s offer. Ok so I wanted to get the shrimp soup seeing as that’s the only kind of soup on the menu which would be a 20 min wait for it to defrost and cook I guess is what the waitress said. So that was a no go but I guess the red flag should have been easier to notice before we even ordered. The wait staff was not very welcoming at all. The attitude of our waitress was very stiff. No smilie, very rushed to finish, never asked if I wanted a refill on my coffee but I guess that’s not that bad. I will not be returning back anytime soon and will make sure to let others know how this place is.
The chicken fajitas were the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be back to Armenta's in my next visit to San Angelo.
We had a party of 6 and we were all very satisfied with our meals. Great service and the best tres Leche cake anywhere.
This is a new place for o to enjoy Mexican food. We thought it was great. They offer dishes that are different than the many other Mexican restaurants in San Angelo. We plan on returning often.
Great authentic Mexican food. Pan fried pork chops were the best I’ve had in a long time. Fajitas were cooked to perfection and everything came out hot. Good selection of bottled beer, but no spirits so no margaritas. Don’t miss out on dessert. Awesome blueberry cheese cake that is 5” square and enough for 4. Small inside dining area is where we sat. There is a covered kinda enclosed outside dining. Highly recommend.
