The food was phenomenal and so was the service. We went for our first dinner after getting married and they did not disappoint.

We are travelimg from Houston on business and stopped for dinner last night. Everything was perfect. We ordered skillet nachos, meatloaf, blackened catfish, and fried fish. Each meal was perfectly seasoned and beautifully plated. Service was phenomenal and I even had the opportunity to speak with the chef. This is a great gem in San Angelo
Was there for lunch with some co-workers and ordered the coconut chicken lunch special with sweet potato hash. Was only $10 and delicious.
Listen. The BEST burger I've ever had. The best. The "Angry" cheeseburger had such a great char on the outside, pig candy (like quarter strips of bacon) also amazing, grilled jalapeno just the perfect amount of heat. Crispy, delicious fries. Super nice staff, surprisingly good local beers, chill atmosphere. Go now. Like right now... stop reading and go.
Live from San Angelo Friday Night. We were going to try another place but the line was long and limited parking. So we parked nearby on the street walked in thought there would be a wait - surprise immediate seating. It was busy but it moved and service was excellent. Checked the beer menu and sampled an IPA. It was good just a little too hoppy that night for me and I like IPA. This night I chose a lighter beer to go with the burger. Fries were delicious. The chicken fried chicken was overwhelming - leftovers. There was artwork on the way back to the restrooms and in the bathrooms. Some very interesting. Food was good and beer very good and service friendly and efficient.
We ate here for lunch and were delighted. Normally "Trendy Atmosphere" is not a good thing for me, but the Angry Cactus was trendy without being annoying. My wife had the angry veggie plate and pronounced it fabulous, and I had the very-creatively plated chicken fried steak, which was also fabulous. four thumbs up!
Business meeting for 5 was very enjoyable. The appetizers (bacon wrapped quail and bacon wrapped shrimp) were delicious but a tad overpriced for the quantity served. The entrees were fantastic and our steaks were prepared perfectly. One person ordered the "grown up Mac & cheese" and the serving dish could've been bigger because it was difficult for him to eat. Overall very good experience.
Stopped here just passing through and wow am I glad I did. I was craving catfish and this place delivered, both blackened and fried. Pair that with a solid local beer selection and amazingly friendly staff and you have yourself one heck of a restaurant.
Passed this place many times and finally decided to stop. It’s awesome from the atmosphere to the service and to the food. I have the green chili queso and bacon cheeseburger. Quest has a very good flavor and the chips are home made. The burger was juicy and had lots of flavor.The fries were crunchy and seasoned perfect. It was lunch time so I didn’t get to take advantage of the bar area but it looks to be a great place to hang out and have an evening drink. I can’t wait to get back here.
