My family had a great time playing pinball, Pac-Man, Frogger, Mario and sooo many more games at RetroCade. The facility was clean and staff is friendly. We didn’t eat any food from the menu but the price for drinks was good. We will be back for more fun soon!
I love it here! My family & I enjoy coming here to play games and grab a bite to eat. They are always so courteous. The food is excellent, especially their fries. I had my daughter's 13 birthday party here, and it was a blast. Everything went smoothly, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
What a fun, clean, family friendly place. Yes, there is a bar (great selection of beers, so plan to carry a can not get a glass poured from a tap. But honestly - this little trip back in time is more realistic with a cold canned beverage - just now it's an adult one!) The owners and staff and really nice. My 7 year old had a really great time 'playing old games'. And don't forget about the ability to do parties here. My 7 year old says this would be way cooler than Chuck E Cheese for her birthday! I have to agree - parents will have more fun here too!Wear good shoes so you are ready to challenge a friend to Dance Dance Revolution, chill out with your old buddies Mario Brothers and Pac Man, play pinball, shoot some hoops, and be a Guitar Hero again, and so much more! We took our children’s school choir there for a celebration. It was open only for them. The man working was so kind and helpful assisting the kids with making change for the snacks they purchased. The environment was clean and so much fun. Thank you for helping us celebrate our choirs achievements.
I am a pinball guy and only go to the free play style arcades exclusively for pinball, so keep in mind that this rating Is solely for the pinball experience I had.Compared to other arcades, they had an awfully small pinball offering (9 machines) on the floor. Only one premium and no LE machines. Most other places have at least 20 pinball machines on the floor at any given time. Out of the 9 games, only 4 of them were functioning properly. Unfortunately the game I was most excited to get to play, the stranger things premium pinball, was one of the games not functioning properly. It had 3 major game functions/modes that were not starting or working correctly.I will definitely give this place another shot. I understand that you can't control when things break on your machines and you are also handicapped if no one tells you about when it first happens. But when you specifically come to play pinball and half the machines are practically unplayable, it is disappointing. Would love to see them expand their pinball selection and add some more premium or LE models. I do live close so it is convenient but I will drive to Dallas if I have to for either free play or cidercade because I always have a top experience at those places.
Would have been five stars if some of the games would've been repaired/replaced, and if one of the workers wouldn't have thrown mine and my families drinks away while we were playing. For the price its a fantastic place though. The only reason I was disappointed with the state of some of the games is because I drove almost 2 hours to visit. If I would've been 10 minutes down the road it wouldn't have been as important. Highly recommend, my whole family had a blast.
Poor pinball maintenance. 8 out of 9 games turned on, 3 out of those 8 actually playable. A real shame. Could be a ton of fun as the lineup is pretty good, but the quality of play and upkeep is beyond atrocious.
Great family place. Good old school games. Only one missing was Asteroids. I will be bringing my youth group from church.
Cool spot for kids and adults. Lots of multiplayer game options, had a blast with Guitar Hero and Police Trainer.Friendly staff and good food selection. Alcohol options for the adults (a lot of ciders, beer, etc.).We did Taco Tuesday here and my street tacos were too salty to eat -- that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise we had a really good time.
Retro Cade had a great atmosphere, with a variety of great beers to choose from, along with old school games, and newer games. The entry guy/bartender was super friendly as well, and knowledgeable with his beer. I will definitely be returning.Also thanks for letting us use your arcade for our shoot, it was greatly appreciated, and so much fun! ?
