This location has really gone down, high employee turn over, food has definitely gone downhill and they’re not even following their menu instructions as to toast a French dip and I requested it three times and still didn’t get it toasted third time. The manager on duty, in which I’ve seen a few times and I’ve talked to about a messed up order two times ago really didn’t care was complaining about my complaint and has no clue about customer service or management, what an embarrassment to McAllister‘s! Six months ago when they messed up on my order and still being a loyal customer they were supposed to send me a gift card in the mail to make up for it I haven’t received it to this day so I don’t know what’s going on with this company but I think as of now I’ve given them so many chances and things are worse! Long wait for my food and cold at that for sitting in the window too long! SMH! I won’t be back!
Visited today on a Sunday afternoon. Waited atleast an Hour for two sandwiches. Either their extremely understaffed or just terribly managed. Please try a different location and spare yourself the visit. Kind front counter team but extremely inefficient processes. I personally will not be visiting this McAlister's location again.
I gave this place 3 tries...the food is gross n over priced...staff is slowwww...i ordered a caesar salad with grilled chicken....chicken was a bit RAW...n they put Ranch on the salad...not Caesar dressing...manager wasn't rude but...very unattentive...i had to pay for my tea...should have been comped...in my opinion...it wasnt very sweet either...anyway...ill walk to Mcdonalds before i come here again...eww...overpriced dog food
The Rowlett location is mediocre at best. If you go to sit, usually your order is out fairly quickly, and correct. But if you order to go in any fashion, your order is almost ALWAYS wrong and it takes a ridiculous amount of time to actually finally get your order. Every other location I’ve ever visited I’ve never had issues with. This one always has issues. I personally have never had a to go order from here ever be correct and what I ordered. Y’all need to do better.
Ordered online. Email stated food would be ready for curbside pickup at 626pm. Arrived about 633 and it wasn't ready. It's now 650 and it's still not ready.I saw a manager sitting in her office to the left of the kitchen door and abother staff member in the door way. Maybe if they got their a** out of the office and in the kitchen we could get our food faster and on time! Several of us waiting and the staff kept saying it will be just a few more minutes.This will be the last time we will order from here. I just heard another guy say he's been waiting 20 minutes.Experiences at other McAlisters have been far better. It's OK that the food takes 30 minutes.. but don't send me an email stating the food will be ready at 626 and it's not ready when I arrived at 633 and then had to wait another 15 minutes for it. I order online so I can get in and out with my food and not have to wait!
3/30/2022 My daughter went into to order our meal. She was in a hurry and failed to open and look at the sandwich's before leaving. We have had problems before. She ordered a Ham sandwich for me and a Chicken salad sandwich. When she brought in the small bag with our sandwich's and potato salad, I knew something was wrong. Her sandwich looked as though a couple or less spoon of chicken salad was spread very thin on the bread with her lettuce and tomato. Mine lack the amount of Ham I got the week before. She was tired after a full day of work and wasn't up to the long drive. She called the Mc Alister's Deli in Rowlett and asked to speak with the manager, asking him, Do they have a new cook? I did not hear what he was saying, but she was very upset and handed the phone to me, saying give him our address. The young Hispanic male took my address??? it is 10:51 PM 4/7/2022 right now and we live in Rowlett as well. We are very displeased with this location. May Glenn
Got two spuds, sandwich(w/ mac & cheese), and nachos.Everything was done well, expect the Mac and cheese was a warm and the nachos were terrible. Some of the chips were stale and the chili was cold. I honestly pick around it and just left it there cause I got gross out by it.
My husband and I both ordered for delivery a Memphian sandwich. 1) Roast beef was too chewy to eat 2) Very Small amount of turkey and only on 1 side of sandwich 3) Ham only on 1 side of sandwich Both sandwiches were prepared this way. Overpriced for what you get.
Maybe the workers should be trained on how to LISTEN to the customers’ order instead of playing on the phone at the front counter. Ordered cookies and a strawberry lemonade (with light ice) to-go and still didn’t get it right after repeating my order multiple times.
Usually like coming here and food is generally pretty good.Last trip today fell way short of the mark. Came in for takeout order after the gym and waited over 25 min for a single sandwich when restaurant had 2 tables filled. Food was cold, missing ingredients, and wasn’t brought to me until I asked for them to check on it.
