Lakewood Cafe is a great place to eat breakfast at. I was seated right away. Everyone was so kind. Muck gave excellent service. He was sure to check to see if I needed anything. I ordered the French toast combo and it was delicious.
Absolutely amazing! Arrived at a busy time was told 15-20 minute wait, reasonable considering time of day, but were seated in about 5 minutes!! Food was delicious, our waitress was very sweet and attentive, food was fast to arrive and perfect temperature. Very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back frequently, found another “go-to” breakfast place!
I had breakfast here on a Sunday, June 26, 2022 and I got here way before the after-Church crowds arrived (just a friendly tip) This is on the end of a stripmall, but plenty of free parking is available. This Cafe is a family favorite. When you enter, one low wall is plastered with crayon art drawn by children. A mixture of comfy booths, and wooden tables & chairs. Staff is a mixture of veteran waiters, and teenage assistants, and cashiers / host desk. The cooks are very experienced, and the variety on the menu shows. I ordered Cinnamon Swirl French Toast, with a slice of ham, and 2 eggs. The toast ended up being small size slices, so I added a bowl of oatmeal. I was hungry! (Menu is all print, no photos. Look online for photos before attending here) Although "American" and "Breakfast" are listed, there is Mediterranean Salad, and a Gyros Omelette that are true & authentic. I've also enjoyed their fresh fruit parfait, served in a pineapple cut in half & scooped out! If you are hungry, and near Rowlett, TX, I can recommend Lakewood Cafe.
Not a great experience at all, after waiting for our food for 30+ minutes our server comes back to tell us he forgot our order. We placed our order again, 10-15 minutes later and we got our food. Food itself was pretty good but we never saw our server again. Refills not checked, never checked on to see how the meal was.Would not return based on the fact of the service, a quick breakfast turned into more than an hour.
I really like their BLT sandwich. Toasted sourdough is how you do it.
Lakewood Cafe is in a strip mall. It serves breakfast and lunch. It is kid-friendly and very clean. On my first visit here, I ordered a chicken salad croissant. The food was delicious. The employees were friendly and the service prompt. The server brought me a Dr Pepper refill long before my first one was gone. I'll definitely be coming back!
I only live a hop, skip, and jump away from Lakewood Cafe, but never tried it until I had family visiting.The food was delicious (I had the classic crepes) and prices were reasonable. We were sat right away and treated well by the staff.I noticed they have a reuben sandwich on their menu. I now know where I'll head the next time I'm really craving one.Definitely will be back again soon.
First thing is we ordered water with lemons and there was a hair in the bowl of lemons. Second issue is that I ordered well done bacon and cheese on my hashbrowns. The order came out without either. Third issue iss a different waitress betought our check when we just got our food. I think we will find a different breakfast place for awhile.
Food was amazing!!! Customer service is awesome! I would definitely come back again with my family!!! Also prices are not bad at all!!
Had breakfast with my husband's best friend and his wife. It was fantastic food and the price was very reasonable. The staff took great care of us. I ordered the cinnamon french toast combo and it was very good.
