Staff was sweet and polite, but the amount and quality of the food was mediocre. I got the combo fajita and the amount of meat given was the size of hand and I small hands. I even asked if the plate was enough for 2 people and I was told yes. Paying for a $16.50 plate of food and it's barely going to fill me up. The caso dip was watery and I got stale chips. Not happy.

My wife and I visited and had a great experience. It has been a couple months and I am just now sitting down to write the review. When we walked in we were greeted and welcomed as we found our own table. The place is aptly decorated and has the normal ambiance of a Mexican food restaurant you would expect to see. Bright colors, and a warm atmosphere go a long way in making you feel comfortable. The drink cups were big, and that is a HUGE plus for me. We enjoyed our meal and it was very tasty. I like their chips and their salsa. If you are in the area, stop in, and give them a try. you will not be disappointed.

I've been trying to order from here for awhile but they never have the Caldo De Res, per their menu, " . . .just like Abuelita used to make." They are also a bit rude when you call to ask if they are serving it on any particular day. (I've called three times and each time the guy was mouthy AFTER I spoke & was hanging up.) So, I ordered Enchiladas, Queso, Chips & Salsa, Charro beans, & the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. Kiki's forgot the salsa. The queso should be called, "High School stadium Nacho Sauce" and the chips are bought in bulk from a supplier, thick with no flavor. Enchiladas were on par with Taco Bell & are served with rice and beans (no flavor-trashed the rice & beans). Star of this show were the bacon wrapped shrimp. Excellent! They are served with an oily guacamole dip, I trashed the dip. Instead, I cut a fresh avocado to go with it. Delicious. I think I may have ordered the wrong items. The grilled food was excellent so I will try the fajitas next. I would also like to try some soup as the Charro beans were very good. I prefer to support local independent businesses. I will give them another try. I paid #37.00. Did I pay too much?

I wish Google let you leave 0 stars. Words cannot even begin to describe my disappointment in this place. I had been to this place twice before, and it was good. However, it's been a couple of years. What I experienced during this visit was un-freaking-believable. I ordered a carne asada plate with enchiladas. First of all, I needed a magnifying glass to find my steak. The owner should be embarrassed serving that to people. It was probably a 2 or 3 oz. steak. (I wish I was joking, but sadly I'm not.) The plate didn't even come with rice, so I ordered a side. That was a mistake. The rice was mushy and gross. I ordered guacamole to eat with the chips. Another mistake. The chips were stale and the guac...I'm willing to bet it came premade from a grocery store where they have no idea how to make guacamole. Bland is an understatement. The beans- I'm pretty sure they counted them out. The enchiladas- I could have made something better at home myself. I thought my plate was bad, but then I saw my sister's. She ordered the beef fajitas. There were literally only 5 tiny strips of meat on the skillet. This place should be ashamed. If you're going to charge me $18 for my plate and $8 for guac, you better actually put food on my plate. I don't want to hear any excuses about inflation. If you need to raise prices because of that, okay. But don't cut the amount of food in half also. If the food is good and portions aren't stingy, I'll pay whatever. This place, though, officially lost my business. I wish I had taken pictures of the laughable plates of food they brought out. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Such a poor excuse for a restaurant. Especially a Mexican restaurant. They don't even serve (alcoholic) drinks. This place ain't it. I've never in my life left a restaurant so upset and unsatisfied before.

I am not pleased with the so called Steak Quesadillas! They had more steak fat than actual steak meat on the quesadilla. I literally had to open each one to remove the fat! I have not eaten there in many years but being that this was always my go to whenever I ate there it was never this bad! What has happened to the real quality? Plus the price went from $8.00 to $12.00! I am so disgusted. The little pile is the amount of fat I pulled out of my meal.

I am only giving 3 stars for the decor and server. The young man was very attentive and checked on us often, which I appreciated. The reason I can’t give anymore stars than that is because the food was very underwhelming. First off, I know prices are rising everywhere but even at other Mexican restaurants things were not as expensive as here. Also, i noticed the portions they served were rather small. The guacamole portion for quesadillas we were given was the size of a gumball. The queso tasted like it came from a Tostitos jar, chicken in enchiladas was dry and bland, rice had no flavor. The shrimp they use in their dishes are the baby shrimp, no good. The only thing I liked was the salsa and refried beans. I more than likely won’t be returning as the food was not spot on for me, maybe their other dishes are better?

THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE NOT SO PRETTY: $13 Fajitas! The Good: The fajita flavor was outstanding. The Bad: The portions were 65% onions to 35% steak. The Not So Pretty: The portions of pico, guac, sour cream and cheese was so sad. They literally gave me a teaspoon of PICO. On a fajita meal the toppings make it so that you're not eating a dry meat, onions and tortilla. If you take the toppings away, you get ZERO repeat business. Gaining a new customer costs 4 times more than keeping an existing one. Do the math. What's the cost of 3 teaspoons of pico vs. 1? That's literally the line between pathetic display and enough to enjoy my meal. If you can't afford portions that are at least big enough to enjoy the whole meal then cut cost by moving to a location with less dine-in space and drive-thru window or just move to a location without 2 other Tex-Mex options on the same corner in the same parking lot. These are no-brainers. Bad businesses will not survive and 2 stars might be generous in this case.

First time in here to eat and I'll be back . Food could have been a little warmer but still great and the price is exceptional 3 of us ate for 36 bucks you really can't go wrong here . Very friendly with excellent customer service. And very clean .

45 mins just waiting on 3 tacos, beans and rice eating store bought chips and salsa. Not authentic at all.

I ordered from this restaurant through uber eats and hands down the best Mexican food delivered! The food is well proportions, warm and extremely tasty! Great service too!!! Highly recommend!!!
