Me and my elderly father came in for the first time last week. He loves breakfast and home cooked meals. It was delicious. The staff are all super friendly and helpful they make you feel like family. We have sense visited again for lunch and everything is wonderful fresh ingredients. The rolls are huge I was shocked at the weight of just one roll lol but they are wonderful. And if you like pie look no further. Also the decorations are awesome I spot new things every time I've been. Keep up the great work and keep the wonderful staff ? definitely come here for breakfast lunch on dinner.
I've been to Hubbard's before and it's been fine, but today I went with family and we ordered meals from the daily specials that came with 2 sides and a roll (the waitress asked if I wanted a roll or cornbread). When the food came out I was missing my roll I asked about it, the person said it was not listed on the order and I told her my meal came with a roll. Then, she added it to our ticket and charged an extra $0.80. When the waitress came back and I told her about it, she scratched off the extra $0.80 charge right away. I also asked about the price of the meals because the special price listed was $9.99 on the menu, but the bill showed $10.50. She said they changed the prices and that's why it was different. We asked the lady at the register about it as well, and she said the same thing. It turns out they are using old menus with incorrect prices when they run out of the new ones, but she would not honor the price that was listed on our menu. Other than the disappointing experience, the catfish I ordered was dry and had no flavor at all, I could not finish it. I've had better experiences before, but today was quite a disappointment.
I’ve ordered the pork chop breakfast to-go from here twice. The food is good but this place gives off racist vibes to me.From my interactions with the servers to the looks from some of the patrons, I couldn’t see myself sitting down and eating in there as a black woman.Again, the food is good.
Never a bad experience here. The food is always delicious! My favorite is the breakfast #10, Jim's Favorite. The servers are always super sweet, and the atmosphere is like a family restaurant. I love it! Definitely worth a visit.
Classic diner feel, with good food. Their selection of Tex Mex is also pretty solid. I haven't been disappointed by anything I've tried.
1. I can understand it being busy but a wait of over 25 min is not good.2. Once we got our food, no toast, cold unseasoned flatiron steak and cold rubbery eggs.3. I had it removed and was informed thusly..."we don't take off anything cause if we did we wouldn't make any money." This must mean I'm not the first to have had such complaints.I'm sorry to say I'll no longer be going here any longer. I'm sure they wont miss my $$ but just thought I'd warn you.
This place always has great food along with very friendly staff. They make you feel right at home. I give it a five stars.
best Chicken Fried steak ever?, gravy mash potatoe everything was delicious and my dad loved the Menudo as well. (first time trying this plece) ?
We've only gone for breakfast so that's all that I can report on. Fast, friendly service...food comes out quick, made to order. It always seems busy but we've never had to wait. Portions are huge so come hungry. Pecan pancakes are freaking awesome, they also have chicken and waffles.
The food was really good & proportions were perfect. Customer service was great. Only thing that I see that can be improved is....When we received our rolls I was quite disappointed. They were really over cooked on the bottom and completely dry. If it wasn't for the rolls...id given a 5 star review.
